Best of Luck!! PILOT EPISODE AUDITIONS
Project Overview
"Best of Luck!!" Follows an anxious, insecure Top hat (Topper) and a chill as heck, thrill seeking clown (Clover) who work together to help the former overcome SEVERE stage fright and social anxiety. This usually starts with sensible, achievable tasks followed by a descent into total chaos and silly shenanigans.
This is, essentially, a "proof of concept" meant to display how each episode will be (for the most part) and also test how many people are actually interested in this show! The success rate of the pilot will determine project continuation and how "finished" it'll look.
Things to keep in mind when recording your audition:
This show is not intended for kids. You must be 18+ to audition
XLR mic preferred, USB minimum. NO built-in device mics
Please have clean audio. No dogs barking, echoing voice, mowers, fans, etcetera in the BG
Please provide 2-3 unique takes
No slating
AABBCC format
Things to keep in mind when submitting your audition:
You may submit a VA reel instead
Please DO NOT both email me and audition on CCC
Please provide a preferred way of contact (Tumblr, Bsky, Cara, email, or Stoat)
If emailing, please make sure to state who you are auditioning for in the subject email and link either an MP3 file or YT video
You're free to audition for more than one character

This has potential to be a long term project! Should project funding be successful, you will be asked to reprise your role and you may be required to do live recording sessions in future episodes. Please do not audition if you do not want to commit to long term work.
Must deliver final lines in WAV format and deliver 3 unique takes. You may be asked to re-record lines with further specified direction if needed. I do ask you be responsive (within 48 hours) if asked about updates/work progress. Payment will be delivered in full once final deliverables are sent. Must have a PayPal or Venmo account.
Auditions will not be open for Clover (I just really wanna voice this character myself lol). I will open up another wave of auditions sometime after the Pilot and if the project is deemed to be “successful”. I may reach out to you if I think you'd be a better fit for a future character!

Topper is a very anxious fella who can barely stutter out a word when in the presence of unfamiliar company. Despite this, Topper is weirdly determined to get into showbiz and become a Showmaster.

Do not feel pressured to follow the voice examples! They’re just what I have in mind, but I’m open to hearing different interpretations. Feel free to add-lib or include things like laughter, screams, grunts, etc.!
