Project Overview
Bad Time on Bossanova Street is a visual novel that has many elements of Cowboy Bebop. However, it's gonna be less serious. In fact, I'm trying to make it not serious at all.
This is a project for fun purely, so keep that in mind when auditioning. It's a passion project that I'm going to be making in between my day job and other projects. That being said, I'm in the process of writing up a script, and concepts at the moment. The visual novel will be made in Tyranobuilder and will be released on itch.io or Steam most likely.

Trad is a gruff dude, but good-hearted and is someone you can definitely rely on when you need it most. He's got a few trust issues, mainly with Dixie and Aykay. But for good reason.
A lot like Beau Billingslea's Jet Black, but you don't have to copy his exact voice.

When you and I first met, you told me something. You said that you had died once, that you had seen death. Why can't you just let it go? Forget the past.
Don't be dense. I started wailing the blues when the doctor whacked my bottom on the day I was born.
Dixie is strong and independent. But she still finds a way to get into trouble with some bad habits. She doesn't like to play nice with the rest of the characters, but if it ends up benefitting her she might just play along.
Essentially, Wendee Lee's Faye Valentine. However, you don't have to copy her exact voice.

What are we gonna do with him? The old duffers out of touch, he can't recall yesterday let alone fifty years ago.

Aykay is cold, sadistic, ruthless, bloodthirsty and ambitious. He doesn't like many things but power. He doesn't get along well with the main characters and demands respect.
He is a lot like Skip Stellrecht's Vicious. But again you don't have to sound exactly like him.
When angels are forced out of heaven, they become devils. You agree, don't you?
I'm the only one who can keep you alive. And I'm the only one who can kill you.
You should see yourself. Do you have any idea what you look like right at this moment?
A ravenous beast. The same blood runs through both of us. The blood of a beast who wanders, hunting for the blood of others.
He is a hired goon sent to cause trouble for Aykay. He performs his duties as expected, but on an average level. However, in this business, average doesn't always cut it.
I don't have a reference for this character but think tough guy who is trying his best to sound cool. But everyone can see right through his ruse.
Why am I here? That's for me to know and you never to find out ok?
Let's just say if all goes well here, I'm up for a very nice promotion. A very very nice one. So, let's get this over with. You're wasting my time.
