Project Overview
AYTO (Are you the one) Barbie season 2 is now open for auditions!
AYTO BARBIE is a fan dub based on MTV's " Are you the one " A popular reality show that has already had 9 seasons. Ayto BARBIE, based on the real show, has it's own original characters and its own original plot lines.
The plot: 10 men and 10 women have gone through an extensive match making process with professional match makers. Each single has a predetermined "perfect match" in the opposite sex. Their one job is to find their "perfect match" If they can do so within 10 weeks, they will split a 1 million dollar cash prize. However, it's not that simple. People fall for the wrong person, love triangles form, hearts get broken, emotions run high, all the drama ensues! Can they get it together and find their match and win the money?
AYTO BARBIE already has one season, which will be out on YouTube very shortly! I want to get a head start on Season 2 so I can get it done rather quickly.
I'm looking for talented and passionate individuals to be apart of this project. Any starting level is fine!
AYTO BARBIE EDITION is based on a pg 13 MTV reality show. There is foul language and sexual situations, but all tv appropriate!
This is a passion project, I make absolutely no income from posting these on YouTube. Characters are paid based on how many leading plot lines they have. Wages are between $30 and $150 per character. Most episodes alternate who gets the main plot line, but there are a few characters that are prominent throughout each episode!
I love voice actors that can improvise! Some of the best moments in AYTO BARBIE season 1 were improvised by the VA's, so I encourage you all to change or add to your lines!
Only one take of your line is necessary, as long as it is smooth and enthusiastic!
Please please audition to as many characters as you like! You can use your own voice or do specific voices for each! There's always a chance I might ask you to audition for a different character!

Benjamin is one of the 10 male contestants on the show. His label is "Emotional Masochist" because he often stays with girls who hurt him over and over again. He is from Atlanta Georgia, so please be able to do a Georgia accent! Benjamin is in the house to find his future wife. He is very sentimental and loves love. He is often treated like crap by girls, but instead of standing up for himself and leaving, he'll forgive them and stay, AS LONG as they are honest with him. As forgiving as Benjamin is, he HATES liars. Benjamin falls for a girl in the house that treats him like absolute garbage. He reaches a breaking point in the house where he snaps. Please be able to bring those emotions into your voice!

Hey my name is Carlo. Why am I applying for A-Y-T-O? Well. I don't necessarily have the most swag when it comes to dating girls. I'm a bit timid and introverted and it kinda seems like not a lot of girls vibe with that…. I mean once we break the ice and I'm comfortable it's all good but having that initial first conversation is really hard for me. I want to do this experience because it's going to force me to get to know people and have those conversations.. and it's not too out of my comfort zone to date someone I'm living with because I dated my step sister for two years. It's really not that weird I swear!

He's used to girls to throwing themselves at him, he doesn't usually have to put work into his relationships. He meets a girl in the house that shakes his chill demeanor. Suddenly he finds himself feeling insecure about himself, and even jealous! Please be able to do the chill Dax as well as insecure Dax.

He should be able to sound manly when he wants to but also like a whiny little bitch when he's in his feelings.

I just have a flirtatious personality! It's just who I am! Logan is a male contest on the show. Logan is a decent man who wants something genuine out of this experience. He has a big heart a lot of love to give. He's generally relaxed, but sometimes thing build up and he loses his cool. I don't have any specific vision for his voice, so feel free to add little quirks to bring him to life!

I was really unhealthy, not eating right and sedentary, and I just kinda woke up one day and was like "no more" I lost the weight and changed my lifestyle to be more active and here I am! Now that I'm living my best life I want to find a woman to share it with for the long haul. I want to be in love, no, I'm READY to be in love.
Katya is pretty but she's staring at me like I'm a hunk of meat and… it's just so artificial. I'm here for the real deal, not just lust at first sight. There's a little exclamation point going off in my head saying “Nope she's not the one, move on”

Jake is one of the 10 contestants on the show. His label is "Might be a Socio" (because he honestly might be) Jake is one of the biggest male roles in the entire season. Jake is absolutely terrified of love, so he guards his heart to the death. He doesn't really care about making a love connection. He just wants to win the money. Jake is extremely pretentious, he often breaks out into intellectual speeches (They aren't actually that intellectual, he just thinks they are) and talks to people as if they're beneath him. He is very manipulative, he knows how to charm and lie his way through life. Jake honestly doesn't really know how to love anyone aside from himself. Not even gonna lie, he's kind of a terrible person. Please be able to do a "charming" voice, a "manipulative" voice, and an extremely "pretentious" voice.
Jake probably has the most lines throughout the whole show. He is my little sociopathic baby. Make sure you have lots of time set aside for this character.
My name is Jake, I’m 26 years old. If I met the right woman right now, I would probably push her away to the point where she would hate my guts. I’m half way convinced I should just give up on finding love. Maybe I should just sell my soul and body, rob a bank, join a traveling circus so I can just disappear forever….preferably with a dog…. “You cannot spell the word question without quest, for when you question things you go on a journey for truth. And this is my journey…” Yeah that's right. I like to incorporate meaningful quotes into my everyday speech. That’s a thing I do.

He should definitely have a very strong California accent (Not surfer California, the type of California that makes other Californians roll their eyes because its just simply too Californian)
Kingston is openly an asshole. He's not trying to hide it from anyone. He's vain and a little petty, but he also has a softer side that very few get to see. He does have a heart underneath his bitchy L.A vibes.

Micah is one of the 10 male contestants on the show. He is from The Bronx NY and he has a very thick New York Italian accent. He's a bit of an asshole, he's not really sorry about it. As he would say "Whaddyagonnado?" He had a hard upbringing so he's tough on the outside but when he loves someone he loves them HARD. He is protective of the ones he loves and he can get angry pretty fast

She isn't a very emotional person, she doesn't really give a flying fuck about anything except what she wants. She doesn't lose her composure often, whether someone is trying to pick a fight with her or if she receives bad news.
My name is Giselle, I'm the 11th girl in the house and these bitches better watch out because I'm coming for their man. I'm a go getter, I don't give a fuck about what other people think of me, so I kinda just do what I want when I want. I've been described as a heart breaker or if people are being less polite then a "man-eater" Every boyfriend I've had has told me they're in love with me but… I've never been in love. I mean oopsies? I've come pretty close to falling a few times, but the thing about me is if I feel like someone is gonna hurt me I'll hurt them first and run and never look back. Miranda is one of the 11 female contestants. She is very girly, ALWAYS wears pink, and wants a happy fairytale princess ending. Other contestants in the house refer to her as a "cupcake" She is optimistic, enthusiastic, she can also be very school girlish giggly. She falls in love very fast and hard. She can also get VERY angry when pushed to her limit (think Bubbles from Powerpuff girls, she is very sweet and girly until she gets mad) she spends most of the episodes pining over a guy who doesn't feel the same for her, I want her romantic idealism and longing captured in her voice. Miranda is not all sunshines and rainbows, she is actually very problematic. She can be very dishonest and even manipulative. She likes to play the victim in the situation, and she is VERY good at it. She doesn't have bad intentions, but she is very good at not accepting responsibility for her actions. She has a huge plot line throughout the series, lots of lines and long monologues about how she feels. (She talks too much) however, she's only in 9 Episodes.
Miranda's plot line is the biggest in the entire series. Please have lots of time to give her your best work if you take on this character!

She's a bit of an asshole and she knows it, and doesn't really care. Most of the things she says have a twinge of cattiness to them, she doesn't really know how to be a nice person. She does have a few redeemable qualities, although she isn't nice to most people she's very protective over her best friend in the house, Katya. She is described by others to have a very annoying voice. Two words to describe Aria would be catty and narcissistic.
I imagine her voice as a typical mean girl voice, that is also very annoying in tone and pitch.

I was cheer captain and prom queen in high school, I’m used to being at the top of the food chain and having all eyes on meeee all the time. Okay so here’s my issue, I can’t find a guy who is like… worthy of my time? Guys in their 20’s are fucking losers to be honest. They wanna buy you dinner with the money they made from working at Gamestop? Bring you home to their parents house?????? Gross!!!! No thank you!
My plan is to get Dax shit faced and then make my move. A little immoral? Probably. But HELLO, it's week 4, Dax still doesn't think I'm his match for whatever reason, I'm done wasting time!
