6 months after becoming Spider-Man, Peter Parker finds himself intertwined with Black Cat (Felicia Hardy) and her hopes to figure out who killed her father. The rabbit hole gets deeper than Peter could ever imagine, finding himself in the midst of large-scale gang operations, violence, corruption, and deceit.
When submitting your audition, if you are not able to record one at this time, you are more than welcome to submit a quick sample of your work or a Demo Reel. If you do submit an audition, please do three takes of each audition line!
Here are some of the general guidelines:
1.) Ability to yell/shout with a variety of emotions.
2.) Able to provide quality sounding audio (Good Microphone quality, emotion, etc. If you do not have access to audio editing software, I will happily edit your lines for you).
3.) Able to deliver lines on or before a deadline (Needed extensions are most definitely an option. Upon deadline arrival I will reach out to you if you have not submitted lines).
4.) Cursing is prevalent in this story, if you are not comfortable with obscene language, adjustments will be made!
Please note, the roles for "X-Men Members" and "The Defenders Members" will be condensed down to do the size of them. When auditioning for these roles, you may put any samples, demo reels, or raw audio as needed!
Hello everyone! I really, really appreciate the enthusiasm and everyone's auditions! I will be moving the deadline date back a couple days to the 7th of February instead of the 10th. I wanted to let you all know ahead of time in case there were other roles you're interested in auditioning for!
Mary Jane Watson is a major supporting character in this series. She is more prominent during the latter half of the first season.
[Concerned/Worried Tone] She could be leading you to a trap, Peter. I can't trust someone like her.
[Relieved, sighing first] Thank goodness you're okay! I didn't think you'd make it!
[Slightly annoyed, Blank expression] You told Harry before me? Seriously? Guess I should've known.
The main antagonist of the first season, Hammerhead serves as a key person behind the murder of Felicia Hardy's father.
(Smugly laughing at the start) Look at what we have 'ere! A spider and his little cat friend!
(Booming with rage) I already told ya! I ain't got nothin' you're looking for, freak!
(Intimidating, "Negotiating" with someone) Trust me, fella, you don't wanna cross me. Do you have any idea who I am? Clearly you don't if you're talkin' back to me.
Kamala Khan is a supporting character that appears frequently in this first season. She is much like her comic book iteration in terms of personality.
(Suggesting an idea to Peter) We could try and take his helmet off! It’ll make knocking some sense into him a lot easier!
(Quickly introducing herself in the middle of a fight) Ms. Marvel! You’re that Spider-Guy, right? Oh, wait, Spider-Man!
(Very Worried, Slightly Frightened Tone) H-Hey, Peter, are you alright? You haven't been acting like yourself lately.
J. Jonah Jameson is the owner of the Daily Bugle and the driving force behind the "Spider-Man is a menace" claim, which some do believe.
[Irritated, Snapping] I'll tell you this one last time! Pictures of Spider-Man! Not Iron Man, not Hulk, not some mutant banana in a thong! Spider-Man!
[Tired tone, Annoyed] You can't be serious, right? Y-You want a promotion? Your work is awful.
[Speaking truthfully, remorseful] Maybe... Maybe I was wrong. Spider-Man was a hero, I just couldn't see it.
May Parker is Peter's aunt and primary caretaker. She is a huge supporting role in this series.
[Urgent, Motherly instinct kicking in] Peter! What have you been doing? Why do you have cuts on your face?!
[Genuinely, Calm] Your Uncle would be proud of you, Pete.
[Reconsidering, Quickly speaking] O-On second thought, maybe this whole hero thing wasn't a good idea, Peter.
Juggernaut is a minor antagonist and serves as Peter's first villain during the first episode of Season 1.
(Yelling at Peter) You tryin’ to slow me down? You’re stupid, kid! Nothing can stop the Juggernaut!
(Wrathful, Extremely Angered) I’m… Getting tired… Of you damn heroes!
Gwen Stacy is a minor character during the series' first season, becoming more prominent during the second season.
[Trying to get out of something] That sounds great but... I've got a gig going on with my band so... Alright bye!
[Serious Tone, in a fight] You know, teleportation is pretty useful, I thought someone like you would've recognized that!
[Somber Tone] That's awful, I'm so sorry. I... I wish I would've been there. Honestly.
Miles Morales is a minor character in Season One, becoming more prominent in Season Two. Inspired by both Insomniac's and the Spiderverse films Miles Morales.
[Confused tone] So... You're Spider-Man? But I can be Spider-Man too? How does that work? Shouldn't we make up different names?
[Fighting a villain, Determined Tone] That's not right and you know it! I can't let you do that! Not again!
[Serious Tone] You need to calm down. Think about what you're doing, Pete.
Norman Osborn, Owner of Oscorp and Govenor of New York City, is a minor antagonist during Season One, mainly being behind the scenes for most of the first season.
[Light Aggravation] I don't care about this Spider-Man, it's obvious he's a menace, and someone needs to stop him.
[Faking politeness] Apologies, I don't have time to address this. Our men and women in blue are doing everything they can, trust me.
