Elora: The female protagonist in this book. She was a dying species called Fae. There were hardly

any Fae left. A few hid, but they try our best to keep to the shadows, trying to go unnoticed. She

and her grandmother were the only ones left. They were on the bottom of the food chain now,

next to humans. Ruled over by the Dragon Kingdom.

Voice:[young and vulnerable, beautiful, not powerful, always hiding, always being hurt. Fearful of

dragon and lycan but she is brave, her voice can be like the princess’s voice in Disney’s movie, but

not that childish and happy]

  • ā€œNothing grandma, but I will go get something for that cough. It has lasted too long,ā€ I tell her

worriedly. I couldn’t afford to lose her too. She was all I had left in this world. My grandmother

shook her head, but I stood up, not taking no for an answer.

  • ā€œGentle, that’s them being gentle?ā€ I asked incredulously. She nodded before chewing the end of

    her nail nervously.

  • ā€œPlease, you have to help me get out of hereā€ I pleaded. She shook her head.

  • ā€œElora, we can’t afford medicine, dear. I will be okay,ā€

  • ā€œWhat are you thinking, my child?ā€

  • ā€œHere take this,ā€ she said, pulling her wedding band from her finger. ā€œI won’t allow you to sell any more of your mother’s things for meā€.
