Project Overview
Hi! My name is Tom Isom from The Rare Collection, a subsidiary of Crackpot Science. Presented here are roles for you to audition and/or submit to this project, which are commercials for the alternate-universe business equity firm, NBC Capital Partners.
CONTEXT: "NBC Capital Partners", aka "National Bigment Capital", was founded in 1925 by John Bigment (1886-1978) in Hackensack, NJ, under the former name "Venture Equity of Hackensack". The name changed in 1940 to reflect the founder's name, "Bigment Capital", and 7 years later, "National" was added to the start of the company name. In 1950, due to massive success, the company moved to a tall building near Wall Street in New York City. The company's still going strong after all these years. In 1956, NBC Capital had a new mascot named "Bendy Capital", created, designed, and voiced by Darrin Stephens of the New York ad agency McMann and Tate. The mascot would be phased out by 1975.
