Attack On Titan Abridged: Minor Recast!
Project Overview
(NOTE: This project WILL include many mature jokes and alot of crude/offensive humor/Dialogue. If you CANNOT handle any of these themes or topics please do not audition!)
Hi there! I am NovaNotRated (aka silverrain), creator of the group TID "The Island Devils" but you can call me Nova! I'm an aspiring director/writer/video editor putting together a small team of voice actors, writers and other talent to create an abridged inspired series based off the anime "Attack On Titan" however, it won't be a traditional. Project "A Titan Ate My Neighbor" will be a more comedic retelling / Nonsensical take on the original story, characters, world, and other elements. I have already planned several themes, events, and story plots throughout the series, however I wish to expand this knowledge with the AOT/SNK community to put together this fun project for the fans, by the fans, that respects much of the original vision of the series.
Down below, you will find several roles and positions available, this is a somewhat serious project. It will be taken seriously when needed, but we are here to have fun while making something fun! If you get along with others, and have a real good sense of humor be sure to audition or apply! As for myself, I am primarily a video editor and writer, I write most of the script on my own, however I wish to write with several people! I Look forward to hearing many auditions and meeting many new people!

Regarding the future possibilities: This project is a non profit one, however if it sees growth and or success I will strive to include PAY in the future, however it is driven by fan passion alone, fan response will determine our path!
HOW THIS PROJECT WILL WORK ONCE YOU'RE CASTED!
1. Once you are casted, you will be asked for your discord information, discord will be used as our primary method of communication. Once on discord, you will be invited to a server where we will be communicating with the team as a whole.
2. We will schedule read through day(s) if possible within the server voice chats. On these days, we read through an episode script in character and find what does and does not work with it.
3. After the read through, you will be told when to record your lines (if they are ready to be recorded) and once you have recorded them on any software of your choosing, they MUST be sent in .wav format
4. Lastly, you may be asked to re-record lines if there is any issues with them, such as technical issues, format problems, or the delivery just not matching the character right.
5. And that's it! As far as the voicework goes, editing and such will be left to myself! So that's how this process will go!
P.S: It is HIGHLY recommended to improvise or suggest alterations to existing lines if you believe it will help your voice work!

Hello all!
With our Episode 1 and 2 cast nearly complete we ask everyone who is still auditioning, planning to audition or has previously auditioned to try auditioning for Extras or alternative roles! We will be reusing many voice actors, so if you think you are capable of voicing a future character, you may also inquire or audition for them via discord! Sasha is the type of girl to browse the snack aisle for an hour, she has become obsessed with food to the point where she has developed a delusion where she hallucinates food or people being food. When she isn't hungry she is "normal" by traditional means, and when she's normal she often shows off her hidden brains by roasting people or giving them a hard time. In other words, hungry Sasha = rapid animal, fed Sasha = comeback queen.

Extra roles WILL BE VERY IMPORTANT throughout the series as many civilians and soldiers appear throughout the series.
Civilians will usually spew nonsense, complain, or otherwise act like terrible people, it's basically modern politics but in a single country.
Soldiers will mostly be screaming, laughing or saying random things to their comrades, most of the "random" comedy aspect comes from the citizens within the walls.

Ymir basically goes about her day assuming everyone wants to ruin it, she gives everyone a hard time for no reason except for when she mellows out. But for the most of the time she is poking fun at people or insulting them directly to their faces.

Hannes is being written as the hero you never want around. He isn't bad, he just isn't useful. He is basically a Zapp Brannigan ripoff only he is a low ranking officer. He often ruins serious moments by saying some stupid nonsense, and when he isn't drunk he is just stupid. But he always tries his hardest to be a friendly charmer.

Sarge Keith Shadis is a short fused psychotic drug abusing maniac who was driven to madness after years of huffing weird things. He is always yelling or preparing to yell, if not he is crushing some poor kids dreams. He holds no words back and makes sure his cadets are scared shitless in his presence.

Armin is subjective in this Parody, he will be written as he is casted. I am currently seeking something close to the dub, however I am very open to different or unique interpretations of Armins voice. Be sure to try anything you think might work!
That being said, Armin is a smart ass who learned too much from reading too much, to the point where he thinks he is an omnipotent God stuck inside a human brain, and isn't afraid to act like he is above everyone around him.
