Apollocary
Project Overview
Hello! This is R&B Studios’ official Season 1 casting call for the new pharmacy mockumentary comedy audio-only series, Apollocary. This series is essentially The Office, but it takes place in a fictional pharmacy. Rishem Bhogal is a voice actor, director, editor and producer based in the state of Iowa and the founder/leader of R&B Studios.
*For CCC auditioners... I would prefer if you click on the link and audition that way. I posted it here so that way more people who want voice acting opportunities can see.

40’s-60’s. One of the head pharmacists who has worked at Apollocary for over three decades. He is very chatty, LOVES talking about sports, movies from the 70’s and 80’s, and reminiscing on funny memories of the past. Sometimes chatting so much, he can be distracted from work. While easy-going, he is also strict but only with things that he wants to get done. But he wants to be sure that no mistakes are made, especially when it comes to controlled substances. Nasal is key for Jimmy.

(curious/appalled) Yeah, what was that guy getting upset about?
Now, how did he not even know about the price before he even got here? People get texts, don’t they?
That’s fine. Just let me know when Cole gets here so at least one of you can get started and we can get the heck out of here.
Steph is the manager of the pharmacy department and is Callie’s mom. She is very easy going and loves everyone to get along. However, not everyone likes her and she has a hard time trying to get through to the older employees while trying to nip any minor problems in the bud. Also has tendencies to get overwhelmed easily. She is soft-spoken, uses “cringey” mom humor as well as sarcasm occasionally.

Yes, Rich. I get it. But you scared a customer away. So you’re in charge of deliveries and I’m giving you a warning.
Yes, Hannah’s leaving soon but Jeremy’s closing with you tonight. But just be more careful next time.
No no no! That was funny. What got him so upset though?
One of the nurses/support people who acts like a surrogate grandmother to everyone in the workplace. She likes travelling, doesn’t brag about how rich she actually is, and can get nervous when she’s in tense situations. Sweet, kind, innocent, and just a walking teddy bear.

Anyway, how's the girlfriend?
He is just the sweetest boy. He’s so kind to me, to the customers. He’s too good for this job sometimes.
I’m terribly sorry. I can ask and see who did it.
One of the head pharmacists who has worked alongside Jameson for as long as he has and has grown close with him. She's very patient and kind, and like Jameson, wants the rules to be followed and is diligent in making sure no mistakes are made when dispensing prescriptions. She’s a frequent visitor at church but doesn’t talk about church unless someone else talks to her first. She’s blunt and wants to get everything done as efficiently as possible but also cares what one has to say.

Honestly, I don’t blame him. How could anyone be so stupid that you hold up the line just so you can get your stuff. And for Adderall of all things.
Well like you said, there weren’t any notes.
Just call me if there’s any trouble.
A certified technician who hasn’t been with Apollocary for as long as many of the other techs but is experienced with working at pharmacies in the last 9 years and they found their groove right away. They are very blunt, hard-working but can come off as incredibly rude if something isn’t done right or even done at all. They are bossy and has pet ducks at home. (Gender will be determined once cast)

JORDAN So central is when we get a couple hundred packaged prescriptions from our automated facility out of town and then they all get shipped over to us in totes three times a day.
What are you doing?
Call them.
A certified pharmacy technician who has recently got married and had her first baby. She isn’t the most hard working but tries to get things done. She also comes off as immature and still acts like she is in high school. And constantly jokes about how her partner sucks (and might not actually be happy). She’s very stubborn and stuck in her ways, unaccepting of any changes to rules due to years of routine which is one of the things she bonds with Esther about.

Watching my baby wake up from her nap. What are you doing?
That’s just a you thing.
Hey, do you mind helping Beth? I think she’s got a line.
A certified pharmacy technician and is Steph’s daughter. She is currently in college to become a future pharmacist. She doesn’t stand out too much but can do things that most technicians can’t do, such as giving consultations and over-the-counter recommendations. She also might have a thing for Ahbay. Efficient, intelligent, and mild mannered.

Apollocary Pharmacy, how can I help you?
So, some side effects you need to know are that you might feel lightheaded, drowsiness and you might become more irritable. But this should do the trick.
No, there’s a lady that refuses to move until her stuff is ready.
