2D Animator Needed
Project Overview
The deadline is when I'm going to decide, if such talent is submitted, not when it needs to be done. There is no huge rush.
I have an illustrator. She's friggin wonderful. The animation would be based off of her work. So there isn't too much you need to imagine. And I have some things in mind already as to what I want to see. But neither she or myself are an animation person, lol.
The animation will be for an animated video. Short. The length of the song. "AMV." The song in question is "Battle Angel" by Peter Roe. Link below.

The scene will revolve around the closing of Book 2. Actually, the epilogue. Where our newly empowered and still struggling to control it hero, and a new-found ally are tested by the BBEG via a fire elemental/golem.
This is a serious project. Its part of a book I'm writing. I'd like to get Mr. Roe's permission to use his song as part of an audio book. So this is also a pitch to a professional. I'd like to show him how his music has inspired me and why I feel I deserve his permission.
This will be commercial at some point. Even if I have to self publish through Amazon. But this means royalties for you as an animator. I can't promise the stars, but I'll still try and give you one. These royalties are part of the deal. You would be a core member of the development of my story. And the first stop for animation in any future animation projects and I have a few more in mind. But first...I need to find you.
No anime if I can help it. These character portraits are not anime in style in any way. I get animated things need to be relatively simple/streamlined. But right now, anime isn't the goal. Some guidelines: Invincible, He-Man, 90s X-Men. Western styles...
The price. I pay per project. It's negotiable. I reward effort and quality. Give me a reason to give you more.
I like to try and keep all discussions in the same vein of software. Since I have done a single audio chapter previously, I would like to communicate over Discord (Pheyelsaphe#1026) if an agreement is struck here. I don't hover or micromanage so long as deadlines are met or run slightly over (a day or two). I do check in though.
A portfolio IS REQUIRED if I didn't direct message/invite you to review this project. No portfolio, no looky-loo for you. Sorry.
I, of course, would like electronic delivery; high-resolution. And ownership of the files would be mine. You would have rights to provide it in a professional portfolio for school or work, though. More on that in detail should you get this.
An additional benefit, you get access to my amateur audio chapter (should have hired a sound engineer 😂) so you can get a feel of the world I'm building. Plus, you get to know who my illustrator is (hint: CyberPunk2077 is on their portfolio and resume, and personally verified)
