Project Overview
Welcome to Anigomi's Character Audio Casting Call!
First, what is Anigomi?
Anigomi is a collection of voice actors, editors, artists, audio engineers and writers that work to produce anime-related Youtube content. Currently, we post two character audios per week. We just recently hit thirty thousand subscribers on Youtube and have been steadily growing for about a year.
What are character audios?
Character audios are similar to the ASMR style videos that you may have seen on other channels. However, our videos tend to have more immersive sound effects (see attached video as an example) or a clearer narrative. Several of our character audios are more like dialogues between characters, such as this video. Our most popular audios are comfort audios, which usually take place between a single character and the listener. Many of our subscribers use our character audios to fall asleep at night. There is no explicit sexual content in any of our videos. That being said, we strongly prefer our voice actors to be 18+. Some of our voice actors are minors, so we have to be extremely careful about what content goes in their dialogues. Having adult actors allows us to be a little more liberal with our scripts.
What is the workflow like?
One thing we stress at Anigomi is the importance of a backlog. This means that if you need to take off for a week or two, videos can continue as normal. However, we are strict about deadlines. If you audition as an editor, you will need to produce content in a reasonable amount of time. Videos range from 5minutes to upwards of one hour, but usually contain no more than 10 minutes of dialogue. Anything past that is usually just ambient sound.

Voice actors that work for Anigomi *will* get some degree of attention by fans (messages, comments, followers, fan art, etc). Depending on the number of videos you do, how many livestreams you attend and the amount of audience interaction you participate in, you will need to be prepared to conduct yourself responsibly. If you are not comfortable interacting with fans, this is not the channel for you.

Yes! Mathilda. My parents named me Mathilda after my great grandmother Mathilda, the, uh, pirate.
Pay rate is negotiable, but we expect to pay around $5-$10 for a very simple thumbnail. The pay for this role is assuming that you will be paid $10 per video, for up to 8 videos per month, adding up to $80/month.
Thumbnails will include:
- Official art (will not need original art, but if the artist wants to that's great)
- A simple background (repeating pattern)
- A title, which will be provided
Backgrounds:
- Can be an edited version of the thumbnail
- The bar for backgrounds is very low.
- It can also just be a low effort meme, as long as it's original.

Audio editors will be provided with lines from a voice actor, which usually range from 5-10 minutes long. They will be responsible for adding sound effects, which will be provided, as well as for cleaning and processing dialogue. In your audition, list what software you are familiar with, and your level of familiarity.
All audio editors will work on a team of editors led by our current audio editor. Collaboration and time management skills are a must. We need to be able to count on you!

Writers for Anigomi will be expected to produce 8-10 minute scripts for our voice actors, that are accurate to their respective fandoms. In your audition, please list which fandoms you are comfortable writing for, keeping in mind that we produce largely anime content. Please also list your writing experience, and whether or not you have written comfort audio scripts before.
We currently have a team of 3 writers, which you will need to work alongside in this role. Teamwork and time management is a must. Content is extremely negotiable, and you will be given very loose guidelines for each script.
