Andy's Toy Box || Comic Dub
Project Overview
In the small town of Forstan, 1988, a young girl comes home with a mysterious vintage jack-in-the-box toy to play with. As time goes on however, this toy starts to show off bizarre auras that not only alter the fabrics of reality, but threatens the lives of her family and the rest of the town.

This is my third comic dub as a project director, and I believe this may be my best project yet. My previous works from which you can look up on YouTube are "The Origins of Sticky Guy" and "Sam and Phil: Journey Across the Galaxy." If you would like to audition for these great characters, feel free to do so, and I'll pick out who will play them! Note that this project will contain certain mature themes such as trauma, and will have disturbing scenes present such as gore and terrifying imagery. This comic dub will NOT be suitable for auditioners under the age of 16.

Andy is the main antagonist of this comic, and is presented as a psychotic maniac in the form of a jack-in-the-box. When he wants to be playfully evil and conniving, he'll be like a shrill, giggly, raspy gremlin. When he wants to be threatening and furious, he'll be loud, bombastic, and monstrous to the absolute extent.

[playfully evil] "You seem very close to these dolls, Ms. Fredrickson. Let's say we give you a hands-on experience on how it REALLY feels like being one of them. Now be a good doll, and SCREAM!"
[sinister] "When I get my body back, I'll live in infamy! Everyone will know who they're messing with, and when they do, they'll respect me for the powerful sorcerer I am!"
[have a shrill, but terrifying evil laugh]
Macie is a cynical type of character dealing with a traumatic past from her father, but she is willing to do anything to protect her sister against anything resembling evil. She has a deep, but relatively soothing voice that doesn't stray too far into monotone.

"Well, does it go like “the more of this there is, the less you see, what is it?”... Of course I do, Elle. Mom wouldn’t shut up about it when I was around your age."
[Somewhat grieving] I didn’t… think she’d leave so soon. She was the only one that I grew up with, so it’s just… weird.
[Opposing, fighting back vocally] You might be an immortal evil man inside, craving for power and blood… but in a nutshell… you’re nothing but a stupid toy!
Vincent is Macie's neighborhood friend that's typically a prick and self indulgent, but he knows if he sticks with Macie, he won't get into too much trouble. He has a voice that's kind of rough, but in a way that still shows he's an older teenager.

[Informing with blind confidence] Point is, you might be in danger. Which is why you’re gonna need a bottle of hydrochloric acid to throw. It’s a useful weapon, it’s effective, and it teaches your enemies a lesson.
[Loud whispering; mad] Oh sure, breaking and entering! That’s the best way to go about it!... Yeah I got a better idea, it’s staying anywhere but here for the night! Watch a movie, go to the arcade, find underwater treasure, I don’t know, NOT breaking into a house!
[Epic one-liner] CHEMISTRY, BITCH!
Gerald Enzo is the great-great grandson of Andy, and awakens his soul back to life in the toy vessel years later during Episode 1 in the webcomic. He has a deep, relaxing voice filled with wisdom and comfort.

[Chanting spell (say however you want, its basically gibberish lol)] Dreku, polli, kasu, kasan, tu. Busa, teru, holi, wan. Fortran jorta! Lorter morta! Dreki, pollu, kasa, kasun, ta! Basu, tura, hela, MAN.
[Assuring] I can assure you that Andy’s gonna keep you company for as long as he desires.
[Warning] Andy isn't a person. He's a concept of which that resembles the trauma that sticks with you for life. Knowing his capabilities now... this town is damned without question.
Jane is the mother of both Elle and Macie; she plays as a comforting mother figure willing to make Elle happy no matter what. (also sorry for it being labeled as "actor", just send a YouTube link to your audition, it's still going to be a voice role)

[comforting] Look, if there's something down there, your father's going to be down there to protect you, right?
[guilty] (sigh) I'm sorry, honey. Your father just isn't like this. I'm sure it was only an accident.
[scared, desperate] Elle?? Elle, sweetie?! Where are you?! Please come out, it's me! It's Mommy!!
Braydon is the father of Elle, and step father of Macie. He's a jolly person at heart, but when the situation is serious, he feels too scared to get involved. He has a deep old voice

One thing you gotta know about that woman... she loves the hell out of these dolls I give her. She'd sell her whole house for a doll.
[scared, guilty] Jane, I'm sorry! Please, listen to me! I swear the knife wasn't in my hand before! Elle, Jane, please!!
[nervous] I don't know... I went to the police station to see if they saw her walking around, but there were hundreds of crying parents concerned about their missing kids.
An old, grouchy woman who's a neighbor of the main characters and has her own scene dedicated towards her being Andy's second victim. She's what you'd expect an old woman to sound like.

[pompous] "Mr. Hills, I believe I've been waiting on your new batch of dolls for the past week, and I still haven't recieved them. Our agreement still stands, and I can and will contact the authorities, about your... incident."
[furious] "HILLS, YOU SON OF A BITCH! THIS IS YOUR IDEA OF A SICK JOKE?! WELL I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW I DON'T IN THE SLIGHEST FIND THIS ANY WAY HUMOROUS!"
Minor character and co-worker at the toy shop Gerald Enzo owns. He's a nerdy, and slightly irritating character.
