ANCIENT DEBRIS: PILOT (Recasts)
Project Overview
Ancient Debris is a fan-animated series based on an interpretation of Minecraft’s lore. Exploring what life was like for the Ancient Builders, the events that shaped the present Overworld, and the story of our iconic Minecraft characters.
This call is for recasts, mainly for Null, whos character got a complete rework mid-production, so new personality, new concept, new lore, which means a new voice is needed.

You are Null, the nothing that seeks to know everything. Like a newborn child still trying to understand the world, you possess an infinite labyrinth of shelves where you keep your stories, discoveries, and all things that spark your curiosity. You are a collector who seeks absolute truth, lies are your mortal enemy.
I'm thinking a voice adjacent to The Sandman. So low, relaxed and breathy. That's just an ideation on top of my head though, would love to be pleasantly surprised by other interpretations.

LINE CONTEXTS:
Line 1:
You are inspecting luminescent green fluids oozing out of a dead golem's body.
"The Owl" is some sort of sleeping goddess, a conduit is needed to awake her.
The "Trickster" is a character searching for said conduit.
Line 2:
You see Steve(Main character) staring at you. You’re supposed to be invisible, unless, in this case, it’s someone cursed with a very specific magic that allows them to see you, lol.
"Efe" is the Trickster. Pronounced: "Eh-Feh"
Line 3:
Steve fell into a trap inside Null’s labyrinth, Null watches from above.
The "Witch" you're referring to is Efe.

(Scoffs) Oh of course he can see me. *Teleports closer to Steve* I'll bite, Efe. *Turns into black and white particles and enters Steve's consciousness*
That witch has molded you credulous, though I am curious what fate she weaves for such... Husk *Steve shoots a bolt of lightning towards Null and lands the strike, but he appears again, a couple steps away in front of him, like he was always there* I can cut your strings, if you like. All you need to do, is tell me. *Withering Darkness begins to spread around Steve’s body, creeping up from below. He starts to lose control of his movements as his eyes turn white, and his mouth begins whispering incoherent words in voices that aren’t his own.* What are you looking for...

Some Context:
Line 2 is just a continuation of Line 1, after Steve takes the prize money with a faint sad look on his face.
Gender: Female
Accent: Southern
Character’s not designed yet since I’ll be basing it on the actor’s voice. Speaking of which, I’m actually open to any gender or accent, this is just a one-off background character. The southern girl vibe was just what my creative juices came up with that day, so feel free to experiment if you’ve got something cooler in mind.
