Alone Together
Project Overview
Loneliness. It's something that no one wants to feel. For Adira Edlen, loneliness had been a part of her life for years. After a traumatic experience, Adira moved to live with her Grandma. There she meets a group of friends who teach her what it feels like to truly be valued.
This series is based off the comic "Alone Together" that is found on Webtoons by Laharts. This is technically a "fan" project. Nothing is paid for or being sponsored. The series will be uploaded to my channel on Youtube & On Spotify. This is going to be in the format of a "podcast" but the script is written and there is no improv. Just like you'd see in a film/series just no visuals on the spotify end.

Actors must have Discord and be able to meet deadlines for lines. Please try your hardest to take out any background noise as much as possible. Try format ABAB or AABB. Do multiple takes and try different tones or accents if you can.
Must have a decent microphone, and Credits will be given out on each episode as well.

Description: Adira is an artist, trying to overcome her fears of social anxiety, and trauma. She’s shy at first but once she comes to find her true friends she opens up and blossoms.

Description: Luna is a shy character but around her friends she’s more relaxed and fun. She gets bullied in school and tries to get past the trauma that is caused to her.

(Sad) "I can't take it anymore, her torment. I try everyday to just get through the day, and I tell myself it'll get better.. but it doesn't. How am I supposed to understand her story when all she's done is treat me like garbage."

Description: Lylette is the grandmother to Adira. She has taken Adira into her home and now raises her. She is sweet and always takes good care of Adira and helps her through her troubles and trauma she endured.

Description: Mrs. Carson is an amazing mother, and absolutely loves her family. She enjoys the workplace they have in the restaurant. She loves taking care of her customers and taking care of her children. Mrs. Carson has an amazing relationship with her husband and she truly is happy in life.

Description: Zoe is the girlfriend to Kasper. She is self-centered, she is preppy and self conscious. She is a perfectionist and tries to be the popular girl.

(Mad) "Ugh! I can't believe you right now. Why do you always choose her over me! I'm more important here. Also I'm not the one who started this fight, you did."
Description: Riley, is a dark character. She endures a lot in her life and lashes out at Luna. She is the bully to Luna. Later in life Adira tries to understand her and offers her a friendship.

(Neutral) "It's kinda pathetic being mad at someone for something you couldn't do, don't you think?"
Description: Noah is the little brother of Riley’s. He is a sweet kid and looks up to his big sister. He absolutely adores her and they have a great bond together.

Description: David is a mean character. He treats Adira poorly and therefore gives up taking care of her.

(Neutral/Mad) "Pathetic, why do I even call you my daughter. Just leave, get out!"

Description: Mr. Carson is a kind guy, he is an amazing father. He would do anything for his family and really values his life and career.

(Neutral) "It's a pleasure to meet you, I've heard all sorts of stories about you. Your grandmother is a great friend of mine."
(Happy) "I'd be happy to let you guys stay here for the weekend if you wanted. We'll be out of town and knowing you guys are here to keep Emma company is all I could ask for."
