Alira & Snotz is a wacky 2D animated short film set in a fantasy desert setting. It will be a little over 1 minute in length. The story follows Alira and Snotz in their pursuit of a giant sand worm. They are an unlikely duo, with Alira the human as the spunky monster slayer and Snotz the alien as the cowardly bait.
Some pre-audition information:
1. Try to submit the best quality you can with as minimal background noise as possible. Do not edit your voice using any effects;
2. Be open to communicating through Discord, it's where I'm most active and able to respond quickly.
3. Include your discord information in your submission so I can get in touch if you're a fit for the role;
4. I will need the final voices done for my film roughly by the end of October, so a fairly short turnaround. I have to hand in film milestones often for school to get my marks so it's important I get things done quickly;
5. The film will be released on YouTube and Newgrounds, and potentially sent to film festivals. So you should be comfortable with your voice being shared publicly;
6. Have fun with it! This is meant to be a goofy film!;
I will of course be crediting all voice actors in my film's credits, and there is the possibility of future collaboration after my thesis film is completed if you'd like to contribute to more animations with these characters down the line.
