Project Overview

I'm making a podcast based off a home-brew dungeons and dragons campaign that i ran. It follows the characters Montague bronzebeard, Laila Thana, and Sai Amakiir as they travel the world trying to stop an evil god from taking over the material plane. It's just a side project so i won't be able to pay right now unless it gets popular enough. I'll be uploading 1-2 episodes a month and I'm planning on releasing episode one in may. It's a great story and I want to bring as much life into it as I can away from the table. Some of these roles won't be used for quite a bit of time until later in the podcast, but they will all be used at some point. You will need a discord.

  • New project.

    Greetings travelers! As you all probably know, the deadline for auditions was a couple months ago. Unfortunately due to unforeseen events this podcast isn't happening at this point in time. But the good news is I have plans for a much smaller podcast! I'll be looking through auditions from Against All Odds and getting in contact with those of you I would like for this new project.   • Still Alive

    Hey again everyone! Sorry I haven't really been updating you guys on anything lately, I have been listening to all the auditions and love how many i've received. Life got busy again so I haven't been focussing on this as much as I would have liked to, but I still plan on going through with this. If you could spread the word about the open roles, that would be great! I'm in much need of a good female part, but I'll take any audition I can get. Thank you all so much!

  • Release date.

    Hey everyone! I had originally planned to release the first episode in October, but unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts with school I won't be able to start releasing any episodes until near the end of school in May. I'll still be slowly making episodes slowly throughout the year but they won't be released for quite some time. Thanks to everyone who's been auditioning, and please spread the word to anyone you can about the project!

Laila(Li-ay-luh) Thana

Laila is a blood hunter and student of Onyx. She has spent several years traveling alone before this podcast starts. She's very kind and not always the most vocal of the main characters. Violence is her last resort, as she believes you should always try talking to them first.

Sai is a drow sorcerer that often acts like he's just a little better than everyone else and tends to shift blame, but he is resourceful when necessary and integral to the groups ability to function. His voice is a light rasp and sounded almost like a whisper most of the time. He does try to be kind but it doesn't always come off that way.

Malar is one of the main villains of the show. He has a voice similar to Darth Maul's in Star Wars the Clone Wars. He is very sinister and cocky.

Crowley is a tall Aasimar(essentially a celestial humanoid) who looks pretty young yet acts very wise and experienced. He is very kind and usually speaks with a calm and even tone. If you get this role, you'll be voicing another character named Kestrel which i will explain to you if you get the part.

Onyx is an Air Genasi and leader of a blood hunter order. He's very energetic and kind towards his friends. If you're on his bad side, well... good luck. He shows up a couple times throughout the show, helping out here in there.

Romeo is the second prince of Wandermore, the dwarven kingdom of the world, along with a cleric. He really prefers to stick to the rules and the least violent solutions as possible but reluctantly goes along with what must be done.

Aodan is a Yuan-ti(a human with some snake like features and abilities) that borders between good and evil most of the time. He shows up a couple times throughout the story and helps the main characters out a few times. He's got a slightly raspy voice, one you might expect from a snake-like human.

Halt is a powerful, green dragonborn, wizard merchant that pops up quite often throughout the series. He's overall quite nice but doesn't tolerate theft in his shop at all. His accent is light-medium.
