Afterlives: An animated Youtube Series
What is this project?
This is Afterlives: A story about a princess trying to find her own in an afterlife kingdom that’s abandoned their need for a monarchy. It follows her attempts to connect with the people of Limbo and her desperate search for her missing parents, the last king and queen of limbo.
This project is independently animated by myself, so there will be some time between recording and release, as well as a gap between the release of episode 1 and recording episode 2.
What should I know before I apply?
All actors must have a decent microphone with little to no background noise.
All actors must be 17+ with the exception of Princess Drybones (young)
You must have discord and be willing to join a server for cast.
I ask that actors are willing to voice their characters later on, given the project has any traction whatsoever I’d like to keep my voice actors consistent for later episodes or shorts. Up to Episode 2’s script outline is already complete.
Actors would be asked to stand by and record lines for episode 2 and beyond if episode 1 does well enough to find an audience.
IF the project makes any money, it will go to the voice actors.

Personality: A little impulsive, a little immature, she’s just turned 18 and is taking over her kingdom after the disappearance of her parents.
She loves her friends and does anything to find her parents after they’ve gone missing.
Morally gray, a little more on kind side, but will get into mischief.
Voice slate: Not mature, but not young. Should sound like an 18-year-old girl who doesn’t know what she’s doing yet.
American or canadian accent.

(Saddened) I care because I want to live up to my parents’ names...
Mostly there to give exposition and show the past. She appears in a couple of scenes in the first episode. Voice should sound like a 13-year-old girl. Very minor role.

Personality: Laid-back in some ways, mischievous in others. He values fun over most things, his friends being an exception.
Luke dislikes his father, never knew his mother, and would love nothing less than to rule over Hell. He’s morally closer to his father Lucifer than most, but it still morally gray enough to hang around Limbo.
Voice slate: A little gruff, a little deep. He should sound like he’s got some false confidence.

Personality: A little creepy, a little uneasy, but mostly should just a guy doing his job.
Voice slate: Should sound like a guy who’s a little on the creepy side. Like you should’t be able to tell what his intentions are from his voice, but the voice alone should tell you things are off. He should also have a suave side.

(Condescending) Now run along back to your little palace.
Personality: A somewhat disinterested cop, who does his job and obeys the crown, but only for a paycheck.
Voice slate: So imagine Antdude. I want him to sound like Antdude. Either that or Dick Gumshoe from the Ace Attorney anime.
Character Age: 30's(Happy) Anyway, the kid’s got promise.
(Reminiscent) Your mother’s humanity was part of why she was so beloved.
(Conspiratorially) I’m sure you’ve heard whisperings of another living human in limbo?
