Afterlife! (Animated series)
Project Overview
Our project focuses around two twin girls who are navigating the afterlife. They were both raised religious by their mother. One has gone through 30 years before the other awoke. Having more experience and time to understand things, she is much more knowledgeable. They are both being led by 2 very different characters, one named Am who is their guardian angel, the other named Mex, who is an Archangel. Both seem to have their own motivations for guiding them. They will find themselves navigating the afterlife, both the divinely realm and the inferno abyss.
Voice Actor
One out of two of our MC's!!! She is the more cynical of the two. She speaks using British sign language but we still have her voice quiet so it can be heard. She is in EVERY episode. Her voice should be very high-pitched, have a British accent and childish whilst also having the ability to be monotone. She speaks in the 3rd person
"A-me-li-a... Has gotten Amelia's magic back." (This should sound like stuttering. She is not great with words.)
‘Why would Amelia like something that forces people to follow them without proving they are real and allowing their followers to die instead of saving them. Amelia's mama said he's a good man, but why did he let Amelia die 4 times and Amalie once?'

Our second MC! She is a sweetheart full of curiosity. She gets distracted easily and is amused by almost everything. She will wander off if she sees a cool rock. Amalie has a very childish voice. Should be able to have a lot of emotional range.
"Where is this? Who am I? Where am I?"
"I should find the answers, find my way in this world! "
"Wow!! It's soooo pretty! Is this heaven? Look at all the clouds! And that tree!"

Ama is one of our two deutoragonists. She is a very manipulative character and she seems to hate for no reason. She is very kind to Amelia and Amalie on the other hand!
She should have a medium, smooth voice. She is gonna need LOTS of range.
"Hello Amelia and Amalie! Nice to see you again!"
"What you're saying... Is I have to work with HIM!?"
“He does, he cares nothing for his people. He kills anyone, not caring by age. He actually cares only about his image and ignores anything he views lower than him as that's beneath him.”

Mexrey is one of our deutoragonists! He is a very bubbly and fun character who more than definitely has a past. He guides the girls through the new unknown land. We see him begging for something at the end of the pilot. He needs heavy emotional range. He is gonna need to be able to break down all over yet also be the most happy-go-lucky character one has ever met. His voice is gonna be a medium-high range. His voice will be soft yet confident.
"You're lost souls, aren't you? Allow me to bring you to the eternal paradise, the divinely realm."
"Sire. Just give me more time. Thats all I need. 23 more souls is All. I. Need.

Ivy is a side character who is a pure lawful good character. She is a young girl who is also in the assimilation home with the two MCs. Her voice should be very whimsical with childish joy and curiosity. We want a medium-high voice for her.
"Youre new here! Let me show you around!"

Darce is a side-character. He is seen as a guard for the sire of the divinely realm. He also has a different face that comes out later on. He is a secretive character. His voice should be a smooth monotone voice that doesn't give too much away. We want a low-medium pitch to him.
"Yes, sire. I will be sure that gets done."
"If Lord ekko says to fulfill a task, it must be fulfilled. Please complete their request."
"Disobedient. Leave the palace or you must repent."

Our main villain of the first season! Ekko is The ruler of the divinely realms lower court. They are very strict and must have things done their way. They are very controversial and hates the inferno abyss. They have a strict set of rules that people must obey by and if they dont, they will face punishment from Ekko. Their voice should be light. We want a medium-high masc voice for them.
"This is the divinely realm. One must behave. One must obey ones sire."
“23 more souls? One says this like a scavenger hunt. The point is for you to keep the rates of new angels up. Does one understand? Make it one hundred and twenty three. I mean now.”

Jacqueline is a side- character. She works as the guardian of the gates and only has so few lines. She is kind and caring to those she lets in. Her voice must be light and calm. Looking for a medium voice.
"Who are we bringing into orvgeil this time, Mexrey? Hopefully someone who belongs here."
"Emperor, may I go up and work for them as I am pure hearted?"

OUR MAIN ANTAGONIST OF THE SERIES!!! He has a line at the end of every episode until he finally comes up later in the series. He is a very manipulative person and has very heavy beliefs. He is the all-knowing god. His voice should be deep-medium. His voice claim is Johan Liebert from Monster. It should be incredibly smooth throughout each word. It should almost be monotone.
"Destiny. It's what has been decided for one before one could breathe."
"Does one think one is above I because of ones power? Magic is one thing, but knowledge is another."
"What, when, where, why and who is destiny for?"
