What is After the Sword in the Stone?
After the Sword in the Stone is a collaborative web comic created and written by Luka Quill AKA Twilight The Squire with art by both Vixlee57, who provides character designs and reference sheets, and Fruttosiomix, who provides the comic art and official character renders.
The Comic’s audience is young readers with an end goal to physically print it and a high quality dub to run alongside it. The comic’s themes focus on friendship and self discovery with an Arthurian Legend and fantasy theme. There is magic, quests and plenty of fun throughout.
The comic’s base premise is a young King Arthur (aged 12) has been on the throne of Camelot for one month, he's bored, he never asked for this and he's not quite sure he's ready for the job. Merlin, his mentor, encourages him to go out and make friends, as Arthur starts to make friends the idea sparks to create the Round Table and as Camelot isn't always as peaceful as it seems they couldn’t be forming a team at a better time.
Sir Lancelot and the Duel:
The character we are looking to cast is recurring but his debut is in the second issue, titles Sir Lancelot and the Duel.
Synopsis:
When Lord Pellinore and his son pay a visit to Camelot to make an allegiance with the new King he brings his son Percival with him who Lancelot instantly becomes jealous of. Meanwhile Merlin accidentally unleashes a box of colourful frogs onto the castle.
About The Dub:
Currently we are seeking one actor for a recurring role.
The comic is dubbed 5 pages at a time.
Actors will be greenlit to record lines ahead of page publication with expectancy to record any lines that may change by page release.
Actors are paid once lines are submitted and are paid per individual dub. For example main cast members are paid £15 for every script dubbed, usually each script contains 5 comic pages.
Important Information
Actors auditioning must be 18+ and have a decent mic USB or XLR, with minimal background noise. No headphones mics!
Discord and PayPal are both preferred for communication and payment.
Auditions can be in either ABC or AABBCC format.
