Project Overview
Legend: a Dragonball Tale (linked)- is an amazing fan animated film by Nasser Pasha and the team he put together that I have the official go-ahead from, to do an Afrikaans dub of this amazing work.

There are a handful of roles, some speak more, some just grunt... but every single role is highly important and I have to ensure they are cast perfectly!
Please reference the video linked for all auditioning to get an idea of how the characters come across, as there are some slight or major differences.
Im not expecting the very best set up, but NO headset mics, no phone mics, no lapel mics. not microphones bought for less than R300 from your local Cash Converters, ESPECIALLY Dixon mics. I dont mind good quality USB mics, make sure youre in a suitable environment to record, especially shouting and yelling lines, which there are a lot of.
I can work with lesser mics if they are still of a decent quality, and you the actor know how to adjust to your mics nuances accordingly.
Must be 16 years old or older!

Goku in Legend: A Dragon Ball Tale is depicted similarly to how Goku is in the official Dragon Ball anime
He's youthful, energetic, and comes across tad bit airheaded.
But when fighting happens its almost like a hard shift from that airhead into serious while not losing that cadence that makes it still sound like Goku... Just all in Afrikaans
Im not looking for a one to one mimic of Goku's voice, but an interpretation all your own, and if you just so happen to sound similar, then so be it
You must be able to properly convey attacks grunts, power up charge etc

Vegeta in Legend: A Dragon Ball Tale is depicted slightly differently than Vegeta is in Dragon Ball
This Vegeta has a far more regal demeanor as well as in how we speaks.
He speaks in a formal sort of way but doesnt lean pompous, he still comes across as warrior, but a warrior with class
You will notice the dialogue for him is far less casual compared to Goku

So trou met daai vrou terwyl jy nog die kans het.. en kom saam met my... Ons moet voorberei. (says in a commanding way without shouting or being harsh)

She has an abrasive and aggressive demeanor right from the start, as if she has a permanent edge, very similar to the original anime.
She comes across as believably tough

A very aggressive, very animalistic brute type character.
From the second you see him to the very end of the video he is.. animalistic..
Raw aggression, raw power.
However voices him has to get comfortable with a large of harsh growls and guttural shouts, especially with his "KAKAROT" yell
His voice is deep and raw

This King Vegeta has a deep commanding but very royal demeanor.
Deep voice, proper class, stern.
He has a very few lines, but they are the opening lines so they set the whole tone
