Armed with Widget, her trusty AI companion, and a program called the Mood Matrix which lets her read people's emotions, Athena's an energetic girl who's ready to tackle any trial the world throws at her!

Voice style: Feminine, youthful, maybe dropping slang here and there (exposure to the modern world), similar energy to Maya in her heyday
Athena's new co-counsel. Pearl is a medium, but her constant exposure to the courtroom at such a young age has left her with a taste for justice. So, she's decided to spend a few months shadowing Athena at her job, taking on a role similar to the one her cousin played for Mr. Wright several years ago. Pearl also loves shopping, and enjoys spicing up her old training uniform with accessories.

Voice style: Weasely little man, just like all the other Paynes, youngest of the bunch, but already a slime ball (can you tell I don't like Payne lol)
The newest in the "Rookie Killer" bloodline. Roland Payne has quickly gained a reputation for knocking out novice defense attorneys, but his tactics in the courtroom may be less than scrupulous. In fact, he's not even the one doing his job - he's got a weird device doing all the work for him!

Voice style: Masculine, elderly but forceful, a powerful presence in the room...most of the time, anyway...
A fair but easily swayed judge who presides over most of Athena and Co's trials. The man is commanding and proud, but also a bit scatterbrained... But, he always makes the right decision in the end. (May also play the Khura'inese judge)

Voice style: Masculine, Everyman-style protagonist, exaggerated, a bit of a rasp (Chords of Steel after all...)
Athena's former superior, and current long-distance pal. Apollo left the Wright Anything Agency to start his own law firm in Khura'in, in order to help with reconstructing the legal system there. In the year and a half since his departure, he's hired an assistant, taken on a plethora of cases, and made incredible progress. Yet, his latest trial may test his resolve more than he thought...

Voice style: Androgynous leaning masc, deep, proper and composed, with a sharp and clever tongue, rarely raises his voice
The regent of Khura'in, as well as its top prosecutor. Nahyuta is Apollo's foster brother, and despite working on opposite sides of the courtroom, the two have banded together to continue the cleanup of Khura'in's justice system. Nahyuta is a very no-nonsense character, and is incredibly serious about fixing the current state of the legal system.

Age: 37, 38

Voice style: Masculine, posh, self-assured, a bit withdrawn, but firm when needed, not exactly British but like...I won't say no?
Chief Prosecutor for the state's district court. Edgeworth's work as Chief Prosecutor has left him swamped in an understaffed prosecutors' office, but he's still making time to be with his...daughter!? Wait! When did THAT happen!? Well, no matter. He's still got a lot of work to do.

Age: 12, 13

Voice style: Feminine, young and excitable, very emotional in certain scenes, has a slightly extended vocabulary for her age (she likes mystery novels)
(Unofficial) Junior assistant to the Chief Prosecutor, and his adopted daughter. Constance and Edgeworth first met when the latter was wrapped up in an unfortunate incident. At the time, her view of justice was incredibly skewed, but she has since re-evaluated her feelings on prosecutors. Heck, she's the child of one now!

Age: 37, 38

Voice style: Masculine, also an Everyman-style protagonist, should show his age lmao
Longtime courtroom defender. Known once upon a time as the Turnabout Terror, Phoenix is more than content with taking a backseat from the spotlight and giving his colleagues a chance to shine. Of course, he still has that unending drive to see justice served, but he's a bit more laidback nowadays. At least, when he's not on the job.

Age: 39

Voice style: Feminine, powerful and intense, with a flair for dramatics, but also the ability to give "compassionate" advice and preachings
A court judge and current chairwoman of the Committee for Prosecutorial Excellence. Edgeworth ran afoul of Judge Gavèlle a few years before the Dark Age of the Law, but after the former chairman's incarceration, she pledged to lead the Committee forward, fighting to uphold the justice she so dearly praises. But has she upheld that promise now?

Voice style: Masculine, refined and cordial, but also a bit haughty, somewhere between Kristoph Gavin and Manfred von Karma
A prosecutor with a small following. Anders is known for "charming" his way through trials, and anyone who's had the "pleasure" of facing him will say so. Everyone except for one attorney. One attorney to best him after all these years. Not that he's bitter. He's not seeking revenge. Of course not.
