Project Overview
Long 15 - NCR Expansion is a large mod for Fallout: New Vegas that allows the player to explore Interstate 15 (I-15) in California within New California Republic (NCR) territory.
The mod will include over 200 voiced NPCs, and 10-15+ hours of highly replayable content with exciting quests and a living, breathing world that reacts to your actions.

By far the largest role in the mod. The main pillar that the story will revolve around, and the highlight of every playthrough of the Long 15. Extremely high visibility role. Character will have one scene where he speaks Spanish, but the vast majority will be in English. One of the most experienced NCR soldiers in California, with two tours in Baja and three tours against the Brotherhood.
He was awarded the Star of Sierra Madre, the Bear Flag Medal of Excellence, the Ranger Tab, and the Close Combat Medal of Merit. However, his experience is not recognized by the Kimball administration, and they have instead deployed him to the Sierra Nevada to deal with raiders along the I-80. He’s been recently deployed to the Long 15 as a result of Leland Hightower getting spooked by the chaos caused by Stone and Stanton’s fighting.

In the beginning, it was a lot more one-sided. Circle of Steel raids on our caravans, the theft of the gold reserve. Then, we started getting organized. Stealth Boys, armor-piercers, pulse grenades, vertibirds, trucks. We pushed the Brotherhood back to their bunkers.
I took an oath to its constitution. I did that because I believe that the New California Republic is the single best hope for peace and stability in the Wasteland. Its victory over the Wasteland will symbolize an end to the apocalypse and the dawn of a new, better world.
A world where its soldiers will be able to rest easy and let the people run themselves, one where there's no masters and no slaves. I truly believe that, even despite all of its flaws.
Morton Stone was a war criminal during the Bullhead Campaign, including the massacre of an entire family in the Oatman Massacre. After discharge, he worked as a corporate gunslinger for several Brahmin Baron, including Walter Phebus, Lucien Simpson, Jemima Hartley and Frick Stanton; a strikebreaker against CUAW strikes, bank thief murderer and an intimidator of the press. He eventually became the No. 2 mercenary for Frick Stanton. He is a psychopath who enjoys violence and excels at it, although he is not much good at anything else.
Voice Description: Aged 30-35 male. Slightly twisted, but not outright manic or crazy sounding. Scheming, cruel, confident that he is correct.

Rest assured, the city of Baker has everything under control.
I will get to work with my contacts back in the Hub. Stanton has some powerful enemies, and I will be making them a deal they can't refuse.
In exchange, the Hub Barons just need to support my position as mayor of Baker. Seems more than fair to me.
A nakedly self-interested man who steals from everyone and is liked by no one back West. He is a Brahmin Baron, with fingers in practically every business in Baker and along the Long 15, from its small businesses to its ranches to its road construction project. Good boss to most of his employees everywhere except his villa, where he is physically and verbally abusive to the staff.
Voice Description: Aged 50+ male. Impatient, slightly Western/cowboy might work, but nothing over the top. Oozing with money and confidence, and wants you to know about both.

A policeman who left the Hub Police Department due to corruption and bureaucracy. By-the-book cop who serves as deputy to Nolan Crow.

We're understaffed, and there are other... pressing reasons why we can't deal with the Castle Organization right now.
This office is not equipped for a fight of that caliber, plain and simple. All we can do is to try and stop the violence from spilling over into the streets.
Nolan's been doing well. He's a little rougher than I would like, but I think he's moved past his tendencies for frontier justice.
Hub water merchant. Old money. Is involved in a highly destructive conspiracy to devalue the NCR dollar and reintroduce the cap as the dominant currency in the Mojave. Very irascible, but legitimately civic-minded and called in Colonel Royez to deal with the Stone-Stanton struggle, and he is himself a good boss who pays his employees in caps.
Voice Description: Aged 65+ male. Old and somewhat crotchety, but intelligent and level-headed.

Baker’s seen better days, but I aim to change that. Clean up the streets, get trade flowing again.
There's a lot of factions within this small town, and they all have different ideas on how things should be run.
I aim to give them all a seat at the table, as long as they respect myself - and the NCR - as their new management.
A Nevada-born Desert Ranger from the village of Toibaye. Came of age after the Rangers began the Great Raider War and was posted to form a New Canaan-Rangers-tribal alliance in Utah, which fell apart when the Ranger Unification Treaty was signed. After that, she was posted by the NCR to do outreach work in Nevada. Was then transferred to the Sierra Campaign at the request of Colonel Royez. Generally hates it in the Long 15 and wants to return to Nevada.

I'm in California against my will, and it looks like I'm going to be here for even longer. I came of age during the Legion War and was sent to make sure the guns kept flowing from New Canaan to the south.
I managed to unite the Mormons, the tribes, the Rangers and even some of the 80s into a great alliance.
An ultra-jet dealer on the corners of low-income Baker from 9 to 5. Spends most of his night gambling his income at the Black Chip.

A profoundly unintelligent and somewhat vulgar gunman for the Castle Organization who has been sent to Baker to avoid a murder charge in Hub city limits. Psychotic and bored out of his mind. Works a side-gig as a guard in the Black Chip.

Travelers on I-15, listen up! The road is getting dangerous again. Caravans are getting hit, and folks whisper about raiders moving in like buzzards on a fresh corpse. NCR says they got it under control, but I say if you’re out there, keep your gun loaded and your eyes open.
Good news for the soldiers in the trenches - Fort Westin is sending more food to the front lines. Let’s just hope it stays fresh.
A lone lunatic tried to take on Fort Westin by himself. Spoiler alert: it didn’t end well for him. One guy against a military base? Either the dumbest plan ever, or he knew something we don’t.
