Jonathan T. Yip

I am an animator, director, and storyboard artist with a lifelong goal of creating heartfelt, family-friendly stories. My animation journey began in 5th grade, inspired by many of my favorite characters and cartoons. Today, my goal is to collaborate with teams and help bring visions and stories to life.

My Background:

Creative Production and Leadership: As the founder and director of Yip Animation Studios, I manage the production of 'Cartoony Companions'. I lead a cross-functional team of 25+ individuals, overseeing artwork, asset management, and monthly production schedules.

Animation & Storytelling: Hands-on animator developing the primary character designs and the animatic for 'Cartoony Companions'. Additional experience includes interning as a 2D Animator at 137Ewes Productions and as a Character Animator / Ink & Paint Artist at El Grupo Animation & Story Workshop.
