Who I Am & Vocal Profile: I’m a speech and drama-trained voice artist with a warm, rich mid-low baritone. My native sound is an authentic West Coast Scottish, but I also work frequently in a polished Neutral British (RP) accent. My standard playing age is 30–50, with an extended range stretching to 70+ for grizzled mentors, aged commanders, and distinct character work.
What I’ve Done: I bring over 20 years of live presentation, hosting, and performance experience to the mic. My voiceover background covers immersive audio dramas, and audiobooks. Because of my performance background, I specialise in navigating complex, technical, or highly atmospheric scripts with clear articulation and emotional grounding, as well as character creation.
What I’m Into: I’m passionate about immersive storytelling—specifically audio dramas, sci-fi, dark fiction, history, and indie video games. Whether it’s anchoring a show as a grounded host, playing an eccentric antagonist, or voicing a weathered mentor, I love bringing detailed characters and scripts to life.
Studio & Turnaround: I record out of a dedicated, soundproofed home studio using a Warm Audio WA-87 microphone (a clone of the Neumann U87), Behringer XR18 with Midas preamps, and Ableton Live 12. I deliver pristine, broadcast-ready audio with zero room noise and fast turnarounds on pickups.

I operate on standard industry rate guidelines (Equity), with a minimum session fee floor of £200 for standard bookings and £100 for micro-projects. Usage and buyout rates for commercial broadcast placements are quoted separately based on reach and term. Open to discussing project-based flat fees for indie audio dramas and non-commercial productions.
