Hi, I’m Rafael Viña, a bilingual English/Spanish voice actor based in Los Angeles.
My natural voice is youthful, expressive, and conversational, with a mid-to-high range that reads from the late teens through early 30s.
My acting training includes Acting Technique and Script Interpretation through Stella Adler, along with character and voiceover coaching from working actors Matthew Rudd and Arianna Ratner across animation, anime, video games, commercials, and promo.
I’m comfortable taking direction and adjusting things like energy, pacing, vocal placement, emotional intensity, comedic timing, reactions, and character attitude while keeping the performance consistent across sessions.
I can perform in English, Spanish, and natural Spanglish/code-switching, and I’m comfortable working with bilingual characters when a project calls for it.
I record from a treated home studio and can provide clean, edited audio with organized file delivery and reliable communication throughout production.
The class builds upon the fundamental principles explored in Acting Technique 1: Foundation, and incorporates scene work designed to establish a strong foundation for each actor. Actors learn to develop character through actions and objectives drawn from the text.
