I was cast for a part on Melissa's podcast (X Why Podcast) that dealt with various real life dating horror stories. Melissa was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is incredibly friendly, positive, and encouraging, and her communication is on point. She is a great voice actor in her own right, giving her insight from both sides of the process. I really enjoyed her style of direction, as she encouraged her actors to improvise and play with their parts, which I think is a big plus. It's obvious she's cares greatly about her creations, as the shine and polish on the finished product was a very pleasant surprise. Most importantly, she takes her work seriously, so any VAs interested in building a professional portfolio would do well to work with her.
