About Mead McLean

I've been working on indie storyboards for a few years now. I enjoy collaborating with writers and directors to set up the early stages of film and animation projects. It's great when my boards help expand the project and help it go in new and unexpected directions.

I work in Photoshop and have some experience with Storyboard Pro.

Pricing

I can work within any of the typical pricing structures.

Day Rate: $250.

Per Panel: This can have a wide range, depending on level of finish. $10-40.

Beat Boards: For black and white, $40-80 per panel. For color, $60-100 per panel.

Revisions: For revisions on my boards or other artists' boards, it would fall under the day rate, divided into hours.

Other: We can also structure out plans for different needs. For example: you may want a set of thumbnails for a scene or a whole project. You may want just some key shots or sequences worked out. I'm here to help.

What Mead McLean is looking for

I'm looking for projects with a rich approach to storytelling. I like working on projects that incorporate action and tension to build dramatic moods and tones. I want to collaborate with directors and writers to achieve their vision and tell powerful stories.
