About Leslie (Leli) Linder

I’m Leslie Joan Linder, a Maine-based storyteller, writer, singer, and emerging voice actor. I’ve spent 25 years in domestic violence advocacy, where listening closely and communicating with care are part of my everyday work. I also write and produce Penny Dreadish Presents, a gothic storytelling anthology.

I’m drawn to audiobook narration, warm and thoughtful voiceovers, dark comedy, folklore, and characters with a little mystery to them. I’m building my recording practice and excited to collaborate with independent creators.

What Leslie (Leli) Linder is looking for

I’m looking for creative, character-driven projects where I can keep developing as a voice actor while contributing something memorable to the production. I’m especially interested in indie animation, audio drama, games, visual novels, fiction podcasts, and narrative projects with strong characters, humor, atmosphere, or an unusual point of view.

I’m drawn to character acting and roles that give me something to discover—not just an interesting voice, but a personality, relationship, objective, secret, or story underneath it. I also enjoy warm, grounded narration, dry comedy, darker or Gothic material, and roles that call for maturity and authority.

I’m new to formal voice acting, so right now I’m particularly interested in working with creative people, taking direction, building experience, and stretching my range. I’m open to both paid indie work and select collaborative or passion projects when the role and project are a good fit.

Female voice with a naturally mature, textured sound. Comfortable playing adult through senior characters, roughly 35–70+, with flexibility depending on character and style. My natural delivery is grounded and warm, with lower-register richness, and I can move into more authoritative, comedic, eccentric, or darker character territory.
