Hi, I’m Emma, a UK-based audiobook narrator and lifelong book lover with a warm, soft-spoken British voice and a genuine passion for storytelling.
I particularly love bringing children’s stories to life, especially books that are imaginative, playful, heartwarming and full of wonder. I also enjoy narrating romance and non-fiction.
I’m passionate about creating natural, engaging and emotionally authentic narration that draws listeners into a story. I’m always looking to collaborate with authors and creators on projects that I can bring care, warmth and enthusiasm to.
When I’m not behind the microphone, you’ll usually find me with a pencil in my hand or my nose in a book! 📚
$200 - $400 PFH
In terms of service, my PFH rate covers:
• Full manuscript preparation and review, including identification of potential errors and inconsistencies.
• Recording of the complete audiobook.
• Two rounds of editing: one to remove recording errors and unwanted noise, and a second to incorporate any necessary pickups or re-recorded sections.
• Full mastering of the final audio to ensure it meets audiobook production standards and is ready for distribution.
• 1 round of proofing - Listening back and correcting any weirdness that has slipped through the net.
Please bear in mind, I'm a one-woman audiobook studio. This means I personally look after every stage of your project, from manuscript preparation and recording to editing, mastering, and proofing. This means every project receives my full attention and care. Because each audiobook is produced entirely by me, start to finish, turnaround times will vary depending on the length of your manuscript. As a guide, I usually ask authors to allow around 12 weeks (3 months) for completion.

I’m primarily looking for opportunities to narrate children’s books, particularly stories that are imaginative, heartwarming, playful and engaging, as well as small-town, warm, cosy romances.
I’m also interested in narration projects within home and garden, wellness and spirituality, biographies and other non-fiction. I’d love to work with authors and creators who are passionate about their stories and looking for a warm, natural and engaging voice to bring their words to life.
My main goal is to build my children’s narration portfolio, gain experience working with a variety of stories and authors, and create narration that both children and families can enjoy listening to.
