@dorwin-smithVersatile male voice actor | Animation, games, commercials & narration | Distinct characters. Responsive to direction. Professional home studio.
As an aspiring musician from Seattle, Washington, I’ve cultivated a diverse skill set through collaboration with various groups across multiple genres. My experience spans numerous instruments and techniques, each contributing to a well-rounded musical proficiency.
My journey has also led me into the realms of acting and voice-over work, where positive feedback has driven me to become a professionally coached voice actor who is ready for client work. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the artistic process, and I bring both a nuanced understanding and profound respect to every project I undertake.
I am passionate about bringing words to life, continuously pushing my vocal range through engaging with new and interesting projects. My approach is patient, driven, and empathetic, ensuring that each artistic vision is realized with the utmost dedication.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoy exploring new places, connecting with people from all walks of life, and learning from their unique experiences. In my downtime, you might find me tinkering with gadgets, playing trivia games, or diving into a casual video, or board game.
I am open to collaborations across various genres and disciplines, whether it’s working with a group or one-on-one. I am committed to helping you achieve the best possible outcome for your project. I look forward to the opportunity to work together and bring your vision to life!
I completed The Big Kahuna, a comprehensive voiceover training program with Universal Voiceover Talent Coaching, covering commercial, narration, and animation performance. The program also emphasized industry professionalism, recording-session conduct, and working collaboratively under direction.
My instructors commended my attentive listening, ability to apply direction and adjust performances between takes, and patience throughout the recording process. At the conclusion of training, I received immediate approval to proceed to the final demo-production stage.

I’m seeking compelling roles in animation, video games, audio dramas, and other story-driven projects, along with professional commercial and narration opportunities. I enjoy characters with authority, warmth, humor, menace, or dramatic depth. I want to work with committed creators, bring memorable characters to life, and develop lasting professional relationships that lead to recurring paid roles.
