Israel Brod

I'm Israel Brod, a songwriter whose work centers on musical storytelling — comedy, character, and songs built to carry a scene.

I left New York with a guitar and traveled through more than 25 countries, writing in the pull between folk instinct and soundtrack craft. I work in English, Hebrew, Spanish, and Yiddish.

I've written more than 100 jingles and custom songs for clients including Doritos, the Salvation Army, and Care Bear, and was first-place winner of a Doritos jingle contest (A Man’s True Love). Under B-rod Media, my releases include 18%, I Work Out of a Café, Big Bucks Buys Paradise, and Bio Hacker — comedic story songs with clear personas and singable punchlines.

I live and write in Miami Beach.
