Hi Hi, please call me Mar! I'm a Texas native, and I'm super new to Voice Work. I've always enjoyed doing character voices while playing DnD, and a friend asked me to take part in a DnD Youtube Short Series a while back. The project unfortunately didn't pan out, but I caught the bug.
I started singing in Middle School, and have kept at it since. I'm currently in a Second Bachelors and am still taking choir as an elective.
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, Design and Technology Emphasis
The BFA Theatre at SHSU features primarily project based coursework wherever possible. The majority of my works here were creating props and set pieces, and some finishing work in the Costume Shop. Other courses included Acting of course and Dramaturgy.
My favorite project during school was when I had the incredible opportunity to work with former White House Press Secretary, Dr. Peter Roussel, on the premier stage adaptation of his Novel Ruffled Flourishes. During the run I served as Props Master and unofficially was an Assistant to the Stage Manager.
Negotiated per project. Highly interested in working with Indie Creators. I am currently not with a Union.
Looking for smaller roles or longer term projects. I also work an 8-5 and attend college courses for a second Bachelors. My work schedule for Voice Acting will primarily be weekends and semester breaks.
