Ben Waters - Composer

Ben Waters is a Vancouver-based composer writing original music for dance, film, and interactive media. A Dora Mavor Moore Award winner, he's known for rich harmonic soundscapes, soaring melodies, and heavy intricate percussion.

Ben has scored work for companies and choreographers worldwide, including the National Ballet of Canada, Ballet BC, Ballet de Monterrey, Robbie Fairchild, Hubbard Street, The Joffrey School, and many more. After working as a professional dancer before stepping into composing full-time, Ben brings a mover's instinct for timing, weight, and theatricality.
