About BChuckVA

Hello, I go by B. Chuck. I started seriously voice acting about 2 years ago with a gig I posted on Fiverr for monster voices. It started off slow but has been gradually blowing up more and more. While monster voices are my specialty, I've been getting into more regular voice acting recently.

Being a voice actor became my dream when I first watched anime, about 20 years ago. It's also a dream that I gave up on almost immediately because I have a stutter. A pretty bad one at that. I wrote it off almost immediately because I didn't think it'd be possible for me. So despite loving it, I didn't pursue it nor did I really ever talk about it. fast forward about 17 years later, not knowing what to do with my life, I finally decided to try out voice acting for real this time. Primarily with monster voices, cause hey, they don't always say words! It'd work out great for me, especially with the fact that I have many years of harsh vocal training! It went so well, that I finally decided to dip my toe into regular voice acting. I've found that despite having no training on top of having a stutter, voice acting comes...kinda natural to me. I hope to keep improving and putting myself out there more and more! I appreciate any chance anyone is willing to give me! :D

Currently, I do all of my own work. I mix my own vocals and apply for things myself. Don't have an agent or anything.

As for the projects I'm in, I've mostly done smaller roles here and there. There are a few games where I voice the monster though.

Other Skills:

  • Singing

  • Metal Screaming

  • Audio Mixing

  • Drawing

Cons:

  • My stutter, obviously

  • Inability to do accents. Like, seriously, I'm terrible at all of them XD

  • Don't have the best recording setup yet, but I'm trying to improve it

  • I've been gradually improving on mixing my own vocals, but I'm far from what I'd call a professional still. Currently I'm learning a program called Reaper
