About Atlantic Narrator

Narration is where my voice work began. My son and I now run The Lost World of Cape Breton Island, a history podcast and YouTube channel in its fifth year.

I also work as a living history interpreter at the Fortress of Louisbourg, where I play the King’s Engineer.

I restored and republished an 1893 travel narrative, Cape Breton Illustrated and recorded the audiobook myself for ACX.

I’m also writing a historical novella set at Louisbourg.

Outside the booth, I’m into history, maritime heritage and good storytelling of any kind.

Versatility is part of the job. If your project calls for a style I haven’t listed and you like what you hear, send me a message and let’s talk.

What Atlantic Narrator is looking for

I’m looking for projects where a warm, mature, natural voice fits the story: documentaries, history and heritage content, educational and e-learning material, and audiobook narration. I also enjoy character work and would love a role with some depth to it, whether that’s a thoughtful older figure, a mentor, or a historical character.

I can work in English or French, so bilingual projects are welcome.
