Ally

This is my second time working with Ally. She was first cast in my previous series Losing Bella as Cassandra Goth, which was one of her first voice acting roles and a smaller role. She has since gone on to be cast in Veil Noir as Sister Mireya, a much larger supporting role, and I have been so impressed by the growth, confidence, and care she has brought to the character.

Sister Mireya is not an easy role to get right. She is strict, disciplined, and commanding, but underneath that she is deeply protective and caring. She has that firm “do not test me” vibe, while still carrying the warmth of someone who genuinely loves and looks after the people in her care. Ally captured that balance so well.

What stood out to me most was how naturally Ally understood Mireya. Her lines came in exactly as the character needed them, with no revisions or extra direction needed. She gave Mireya strength without making her harsh, warmth without making her soft, and authority without losing the heart of the role.

Ally brought a real sense of presence to Mireya. Her performance had that firm, grounded authority the character needed, but she never made her feel cold. There was always this undercurrent of care beneath the discipline, which is exactly what makes Mireya work. She managed to make her feel protective, intimidating, and quietly compassionate all at once.

She has been reliable, easy to communicate with, and lovely to work with again. Seeing her go from Cassandra Goth in Losing Bella to taking on a much bigger role in Veil Noir has been wonderful, and I am so proud of the work she has done.
