In the past I've been called a Jack-of-all-trades, but these days I just go by Jamie. ⋆⭒˚.⋆ I'm here on CCC to pursue voice acting and creative writing/editing opportunities, and to meet other creatives in fandom who are making amazing things! VOICE ACTING

I work from home in a small, sound-treated studio. Currently I record with an AT2020 XLR and a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th gen audio interface. I self-produce anime ASMR/song covers and have been featured in other character projects here on CCC. I have studied a number of accents, predominantly European and American, and can do several recognisable character impressions ranging from the benign (Kermit) to the turbulent (Smeagol). Auditions I submit are cleaned with noise removal, but if you require further editing, compression, ambience, or SFX, I am able to provide additional treatment for my audio.

WRITING

I have experience publishing poetry, prose, and scripts, and I routinely creatively write both original content and roleplay scenes. Good dialogue is essential to me, as is character motivation, plot focus, and fully-realised settings. In terms of concepts and aesthetics, I am highly intrigued by the various uses of anthropomorphism and metaphor, and find myself drawn to fantasy, gothic, horror, surrealism, and historical fiction. I am a graduate of English, creative writing, and English literature, and would be honoured to work with you on your own writing pursuits!
