Backstory: Megumi was raised in a sheltered lifestyle, often wearing kimonos due to the traditional Japanese inn that her parents run. She would pass for full-Japanese if it weren't for her natural sandy blonde hair and green eyes, but not many people in her area treated her any differently. When she grew older she decided that she wanted to see more of the world and applied to a school in Tokyo. After arriving, Megumi noticed that the majority of the population did not wear kimonos regularly, and when passing by foreigners she would be asked for a photo. Others did not believe she was Japanese and that she was just a foreigner dressing up, and this upset Megumi. She noticed the music videos by current idols while passing by a store, and Megumi was immediately captivated. The way they had hints of classical music mixed into a more modern tune intrigued her, more to the point she wanted to become an idol herself. With some luck there was an I MY ME producer nearby who caught Megumi's attention and asked her if she would be interested in becoming an idol for the company. She gladly accepted.
