Taina

Project Overview here.
Full Character Breakdown and Sides here. (and briefly outlined below)

~~~~~~~~~~
Name: Taina Torres
Age: 24
Race: Human
Birthplace: New York City, Earth
Tank: Fuse
Ability: GLOM Missile
Faction: Zeal
Character Summary:
Taina grew up in her father's speeder shop, more at ease with machines than people. Her father sheltered anyone in need, including Rebel operatives once the war began. When Fist enforcers beat him for hiding a Rebel officer, she gave up the officer's location to save him – but they killed him anyway. Blaming her own weakness for betraying her father, she flew his beloved vintage restored Copperhead speeder to Tyr on a course he'd already plotted, and now fights with the Zeal to redeem herself and claim the planet's power for his memory.
(Taina is one character within a whole cast of playable pilots.)
Performance Notes:
Taina is generally more serious, reserved, and terse. When encountering bad outcomes, she’ll often be critical of her own weakness first, then angry with herself. She can get elated and loud in positive scenarios, but finds too much expression indulgent or overstimulating.
She should have some amount of New York Puerto Rican/Boricua accent, but it doesn’t need to be super thick. A few of her lines incorporate some Spanish and Puerto Rican slang, so good  Spanish pronunciation is needed.
A good reference would be Jennifer Lopez from her 1998 interview for the movie “Out of Sight”. Please note this is only an accent reference - NOT a personality reference.
