Character Description

Meet Blottie, the colorful little troublemaker of Patches & Paint!

Blottie is a living creation made from bright, magical paint. They're a confident, imaginative mascot who loves experimenting with colors, making unusual paintings, and turning ordinary craft projects into spectacular masterpieces.

Unlike their gentle friend Patches, Blottie doesn't particularly enjoy following instructions. They believe creativity is about breaking expectations, trying new things, and making a little mess along the way.

Blottie has a cheeky grin, a clever comeback for almost everything, and a habit of showing off their latest artistic creations.

They might sneakily paint a silly mustache onto a poster or challenge their friends to an impromptu painting competition.

Despite their mischievous behavior, Blottie genuinely cares about the other mascots. They often use jokes and playful teasing to cheer up their friends, especially Patches.

However, since the craft center closed, Blottie has been experiencing something they cannot explain.

Sometimes, their normally vibrant colors begin to fade without warning. Dark paint stains appear around the building, even though Blottie insists they didn't make them.

Even stranger, their reflection occasionally moves a fraction of a second later than they do.

At first, Blottie laughs it off.

But as these incidents grow more frequent, their confidence begins to crack.

For the first time, Blottie is facing a problem they cannot solve with creativity, cleverness, or a perfectly timed joke.

And they're terrified of what might happen when their colors finally disappear.

Voice Description

We're looking for a voice actor who can bring Blottie to life with a cheeky, confident, and mischievous performance.

Their voice should have plenty of personality, with playful sarcasm, expressive reactions, and the ability to sound effortlessly self-assured.

Blottie enjoys teasing their friends, making bold declarations, and pretending that nothing scares them.

However, as the game's story progresses, the actor should also be capable of conveying vulnerability, uncertainty, and genuine fear.

"Hold on... that's not right. I didn't paint those marks. So why are they following me?"

"Patch...? I can't feel my colors anymore. I keep trying to paint them back, but... nothing's working."

"Heh... funny joke. Really funny. Now tell me why my reflection is still smiling."

Additional Notes

Blottie is an original nonbinary mascot in Patches & Paint and uses they/them pronouns.

Their mischievous personality contrasts with Patches' gentle, comforting nature, creating opportunities for playful dialogue, humorous interactions, and emotionally meaningful moments.

Blottie's confidence is an important part of their characterization. We want their voice to feel clever and entertaining without becoming unnecessarily mean-spirited.

As the story progresses, their playful attitude gradually gives way to genuine fear as they struggle to understand what is happening to their colors.

This is an original Roblox mascot-horror project currently in early development. Final recording scope, compensation, deadlines, permissions, and credit arrangements will be discussed with the selected performer.
