BRUGMANSIA
Mothman for Haile Haruka
Haile Haruka
Student council president and frontrunner of his school's track team, Haile is—actually, was the image of exceptionality, a stoic over-achiever with what he could only describe as a "bright future ahead of him." A charming, albeit emotionally inept stickler for the rules, whose ambition to settle for nothing but perfection begins to shift after meeting two "angels"; his eventual lover, Kaito Uchida, and a more literal angel; the Gnathael. Behind his picture perfect composure lies a variety of self-inflicted burdens, nonetheless. Not only does Haile struggle with addiction, but a passive suicidality feeding into the down spiral of his psyche.
With promises of not only a better world at the hands of his end, but unconditional, divine acceptance, Haile has begun to throw himself into the Gnathael's reign, allowing for her words and surrounding religion to guide him to his inevitable end. As a result of "reviving" the Mother's long dead title, Haile was gifted a most bizarre ability; to explore other worlds and dimensions through his dreams.
Haile is basically the most prominent vessel of the four chosen, serving as a sort of 'guide' towards their end. As time goes on, Haile will slowly delve further and further into religious psychosis, and harms his loved ones and followers in the process of achieving a better world.
Other than having a masculine voice, one of my only requirements in terms of how he should sound is that his emotional range should be incredibly flexible, considering how important of a role he plays and how intense his spiral becomes. Nonetheless, Haile is still a teenager, and to some extent, I'd like for him to sound like one. Mania, anger, exhaustion, affection, as well as a default monotonous voice; a semi-decent microphone is preferable, one that can pick up yelling, whispering and normal volumes with ease. Bonus points for not picking up background noise.

"You may refer to me as Haruka. Haruka Haile."
"If only you could've seen him. He really did look like an angel."
"Fine then, so be it. I'll become someone different entirely."
