Brief introduction: One of Itsuko’s classmates and closest friends. Contrasting with Itsuko, his grades are so bad, Tojino-sensei calls him “far beyond saving”.

Personality: He acts as a comedic relief, always smiling and joking around, especially when the atmosphere becomes heavy. Very laid-back and doesn’t take himself or anyone too seriously. He always tries to cheer Itsuko up, and would occasionally tease her for “not having a life outside of academics”. Of course, he does not mean it in a taunting manner, he just wants her to open up a little more and truly experience life outside of school.
