His childhood was surrounded by an abundance of nature, making friends with small critters. His family always noted how fierce he could be; they always told him he had an impenetrable spirit What got him into hockey was due to an act of bravery and resilience as he protected his friends from local bullies. Conrad stood his ground; he may have been hurt, but his soul was impenetrable. The hockey coach took notice from afar and saw something in Conrad, so after some convincing, the coach got him onto the rink. Ever since the legend grew, the Grand Glacier, you can chip away as much as you like, but Conrad will never fall.
