In all fairness, Shiroi may not own a company, have tons of wealth, or require any luxury, for all his needs are stored in his brain, and all his desires are fulfilled on that chessboard. Shiroi grew up a simple life; he never once complained about the things he didn’t have; he only focused on what was in front of him. His favorite pastime was always spending time with his grandfather playing chess or feeding the birds at the park. Each and every day, they would put their minds against one another, though he never won one game against his elder; what he learned from those games was invaluable. Shiroi started playing against other people to improve his skills, but from there, he was able to see more than his eyes could ever imagine. He could spot tells, nuances, and he could even read the moves of his opponents before they were made. After consecutive wins, his skills caught the eyes of the pros, and with his latent ability, Shiroi became a household name in the world of chess.
