Hi Wesley,
Thank you so much for submitting, your demo reel is great! If you have time, would you be able to submit reads for both of the character sides? I think your voice could be a good fit, and would like to see what you come up with for these characters.I can’t share concept art at this stage, but I can send over some inspiration photos for the characters if you’re alright with that. Here is some additional context for each of the characters:
For Brother 1 (Sorcerer):
This character is a master manipulator. He’s so convincing that people genuinely believe his lies and even see him as someone chosen by the gods.
He’s a prodigy of necromancy and blood magic and copes with his dark existence by finding humor in almost everything. He’s usually casual, amused, and pleasant, essentially treating people like toys, with an almost juvenile way of seeing the world.
He should never sound sinister. He should be dangerously enchanting.
For Brother 2 (Rogue):
He’s essentially the opposite of his brother. He was abandoned by his family for his lack of power and has spent a very long time carrying that sense of isolation and inadequacy.
At this point in the story, he’s forced to assist his brother while secretly trying to protect the woman he loves. He cannot reveal who he really is or what he’s doing, so he maintains a casual, ordinary demeanor while carrying tremendous guilt and conflict underneath.
He may sound casual or detached, but underneath he’s exhausted, conflicted, protective, and afraid of hurting the person he loves. His dialogue should always have a sense of gravity, conflict, or exhaustion to it.
