The sides they read from:

  • "The Cuzzo Sprouting Incantation is prepared, my lord. I have practiced until my fingers bleed. The branches will take root. The girl will become... compatible. But I must ask... is there truly no other vessel?"

  • "Forgive me, Lord Machiavelli. I do not question your wisdom. But I look at that child—that bright, defiant child—and I wonder if we are saving Oblio or losing our souls in the process."

  • "I have dedicated my life to the Rossi Clan. I have done things in service to our family that I will never speak of. But this... this feels different. This feels like we are crossing a line that cannot be uncrossed."
