Silas is the Vice Mayor of Oblio. He is blindfolded, scarred, and unsettlingly perceptive—he can describe exactly what someone looks like using only his other senses. His coat is covered in talismans: an Arctic captain's clasp, an eye sigil, glowing wire, polished iron, and a carved bone token. He's wealthy, mysterious, and "a spy's worst nightmare." Kind, but there's something unsettling beneath the surface.
Silas is the most mysterious character in the story. He sees without eyes, knows without being told. His voice is the most distinctive in the cast—very, very deep, with a slight British accent. He speaks with the cadence of someone who knows more than they're saying.
