A space pirate from next Thursday who steals from other days of the week, and would like to steal the Nightstar. Slowly. From the inside.

The archetype, Space Pirate: A flirty, larcenous pirate who does what she likes and steals what she wants.

What it means: Our own type, from Ryoko in Tenchi Muyo and the whole flamboyant anime pirate tradition: free, affectionate, lawless, and very hard to keep in one place.

Where the comedy is: Stealing things nobody else could steal (from next week, through walls) and flirting as a reflex.

Well-known examples: Ryoko (Tenchi Muyo!), Lum (Urusei Yatsura), Fujiko and Lupin (Lupin III), Harlock.

Built from: Tenchi Muyo!'s space pirate, Urusei Yatsura's 'darling' (with zaps), Lupin III's calling cards, Space Dandy's absurd side hustles, Steins;Gate's texts to the past.

The menace: Her flag brings every bounty hunter in the sector down on the ship, and she steals the ship's supplies from next week.

How Aiko sounds: Adult woman. Bold, playful, husky, delighted with everything she does. 'Darling' in every other line. Never embarrassed, never small: the finale is a smug victory lap.

The season (8 episodes): A pirate comedy: she's in the captain's chair (EP1), the flag (EP2), stolen Tuesdays (EP3), the galley cat registered as a rare alien (EP4), an insultingly low bounty (EP5), a wrong wall at night (EP6), Aiko from next Thursday (EP7), and the heist (EP8).

The job: write Aiko's whole season as short scenes, in our plain-text script format. The story beats and the game outcomes are set; the jokes, the staging and every line are yours. You get a full writer package: the character bible, every episode's beats and choices, how scenes play on screen, and two finished example seasons you can click through.

Length: one character season, 8 episodes of roughly 190 to 250 words each (about 1,520 to 2,000 words in total).

Episode 4, "Rare Alien"

Why this one: Her side-hustle chaos in one self-contained scene: the galley cat registered as a rare alien.

What you need to know: Aiko is a space pirate who says she's from next Thursday. She steals from other days of the week, calls the captain 'darling', and has never once been embarrassed. The galley cat is Admiral Whiskers.

What happens (the beats are fixed; the jokes, the staging and every line are yours):

- She drags a crate onto the bridge labeled RARE ALIEN, BOUNTY 10,000 SCRAP: an unregistered species, and the alien registry pays.

- Something in the crate meows. It's the galley cat, Admiral Whiskers. It's a very rare galley cat, she insists.

- Then a wanted poster for Aiko goes out, at a very low price.

Then the player picks one of these:

1. Register it anyway.

2. Return the cat.

3. Ask what else she's registered.

Write: the scene (3 to 8 lines), then the result of ONE choice of your pick (up to 5 lines). A spoken line is up to 40 words.

Format: copy this layout exactly. Auditions that follow it score higher.
