Character Overview

-Éona is the female child protagonist and player character in this narrative driven adventure game.

-9 year old girl from a fictional land in the far North(Comparable to countries like Iceland, Norway, Finnland, Scottland).

-Éona is curious, compassionate, and quietly courageous. Though she often feels alone and uncertain, she possesses a deep connection to the natural world and an enduring capacity for hope.

-We're looking for a voice actor who can bring genuine emotional authenticity to the character. Her voice should feel natural, youthful, and sincere, never overly theatrical or artificially cute. The performance requires a range of emotions, including wonder, vulnerability, fear, determination, sadness, empathy, and joy. Subtlety is especially important. Some of her most meaningful moments are quiet, tender, and intimate as she is confronted with heartbreaking truths. Her story takes her from a blissful optomistic child to a positive but honest perspective.
-Dialog is directed at the other characters and sometimes at herself as she is often alone. Other character’s are her grandmother, her fox companion, and mysterious white raven.

Accent
People are from a fictional land in the far north, very similar to Iceland. We prefer accents to be subtle and not distracting.  Voice influences can include Icelandic, Nordic, Irish, Scottish, Icelandic, or Finnish.  The more obscure or mixed the better, but it should feel like it’s similar to these regions. Authenticity and performance take slight priority over any specific accent.

Scope
Approximately 6-8 hours of recording anticipated, subject to final script and casting.

Additional Details

-Experience with video games and animation is welcome but not required.

-Voice lines will accompany gameplay as well as in game cinematics.

-Professional quality recording required.
