Alex is a Grade 12 student with a hotheaded, blunt, and confrontational personality. He’s confident, sarcastic, stubborn, and not afraid to speak his mind, especially when someone pushes his buttons. Beneath the attitude, though, he’s more thoughtful than he likes to admit and has a strong sense of loyalty toward the people he respects. Looking for a 16 year old male voice that feels naturally teenage, confident, slightly rough around the edges, and energetic, with a good range for sarcasm, anger, humor, and quieter serious moments.

The sides they read from:

  • "Ugh, does it even matter? Fine, I've been told that I’m blunt, that I get pissed off pretty easily, and apparently I have a problem with authority. I don't really see the problem, but whatever.”

  • “I don't know what her problem was, she's lost her mind, thinking she could speak to ME like that?"

  • “I think everybody's getting too comfortable pretending nothing's wrong. Four people disappear and suddenly we're supposed to just carry on like normal? Yeah, no. Something's wrong.”
