Gender: Female

A brilliant ex-Occupation officer who joined the Nightstar for one reason: to take command of it. Every scheme is flawless, and the captain foils every one by accident.

The archetype, Kamidere: Believes she's a god, or at least above everyone else.

What it means: From kami (god). Supreme confidence, grand pronouncements, and a quiet need for someone to see the person under the legend.

Where the comedy is: Godlike self-regard applied to ordinary things, and the moments when reality refuses to comply.

Well-known examples: Char Aznable's legend (Gundam), Haruhi Suzumiya, Kaguya (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War).

Built from: Code Geass's Lelouch (the command voice, the chess, the gambit), Death Note's Light (the scheming inner monologue, the potato chip), Yu-Gi-Oh!'s Kaiba, Classroom of the Elite's Ayanokoji, Shangri-La Frontier's Arthur Pencilgon, and a seed of Kaguya-sama's 'whoever confesses first loses'.

The menace: She tries to take command of the ship, by chess, paperwork, card games or outright mutiny.

How Iori sounds: Adult woman. Cool, precise, regal aloud. Her voiced INNER MONOLOGUE is the comedy: fast, dramatic, panicking. Keep the two clearly different.

The season (8 episodes): A mutiny comedy: an offer to command (EP1), chess (EP2), paperwork (EP3), plotting over potato chips (EP4), a card duel for the ship (EP5), a battle against her old commander (EP6), a command voice that works on everyone but the captain (EP7), and a final board where whoever confesses first loses (EP8).

The job: write Iori's whole season as short scenes, in our plain-text script format. The story beats and the game outcomes are set; the jokes, the staging and every line are yours. You get a full writer package: the character bible, every episode's beats and choices, how scenes play on screen, and two finished example seasons you can click through.

Length: one character season, 8 episodes of roughly 190 to 250 words each (about 1,520 to 2,000 words in total).

Episode 5, "Duel For The Chair"

Why this one: A card game she invented so she'd win, and the first hint she lets slip.

What you need to know: Iori joined the Nightstar to take command of it. Her chess gambit and her paperwork mutiny both failed, because the captain did something no genius would do. She narrates her schemes in a grand inner voice.

What happens (the beats are fixed; the jokes, the staging and every line are yours):

- She challenges the captain to a duel in a card game she invented that morning. Stakes: command of the ship.

- She wrote the rules. She wrote them so she wins.

- Mid-duel, she says it herself: in cards, as in love, whoever shows their hand first loses. Then she realizes what she said, and loses the duel to a card that doesn't exist.

Then the player picks one of these:

1. Play the card that doesn't exist.

2. Pretend you didn't hear what she said.

3. Ask her to explain the rules again, slowly.

Write: the scene (3 to 8 lines), then the result of ONE choice of your pick (up to 5 lines). A spoken line is up to 40 words.

Format: copy this layout exactly. Auditions that follow it score higher.
